“Beer is good, food so, so”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 14, 2013

If you are in the mood for good beer in a loud brew pub, this is the place to go. If you are looking for a good burger, go to "In n Out". If you are looking for a good glass of wine don't even go through the door. The only reason I did not rate this restaurant poor, is the wait staff is very good. We had almost an hour wait to get our food and the place wasn't even crowded, the kitchen could use some help. Ordered a medium rare black and blue burger and got a well done, dried out burger with cold french fries (thank God for the beer). My husband ordered fish taco's that he said he would not order again. We will just scratch this one off our list.

“Good food, cute town”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2013

I really like the look of the restaurant and its convenient location. I met some people here for a business dinner and the food was reasonably priced, well prepared and we were served well.

“Greatly improved over past visits.....now will recommend!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 11, 2013

Best choice (in my opinion) is the "Ale House Burger" with sweet potato fries.

Have this selection and you will NEVER get a let-down. Best burger plate in Auburn! (Note-- this can be split between two persons, its that huge!!!)

“Works for me!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 26, 2013

I met a business associate at The Auburn Ale House for lunch recently at his suggestion. We never tried the beer, but both meals were excellent. I had the Fish and Chips and have to say they are as good as can be had anywhere on the in California. I will stop again when I'm in the area.
