Our daughter was married October 11th, 2009 at the beautiful Powers Mansion Inn in Auburn, CA. From our first meeting with the owner Alfred Lee in February 2009 until the actual wedding day 9 months later we were impressed with his professionalism, his willingness to guide us through the entire process, and the helpfulness of his staff. We quickly learned there are a million things to plan for and think about prior to the wedding and that Mr. Lee has the expertise and the experience to guide both the parents and the newlyweds toward both a beautiful wedding ceremony and a fun reception afterwards.
We loved the old gold rush mansion and the setting at first sight and we looked at lots of locations in Placer County. Having an Irish Pub next door added to the fun for us.
The wedding venue has two locations for the ceremony, a nearby ballroom for the reception, a B&B for the bridal party and all within walking distance of each other. You can have a beautiful ceremony, great food and beverages, and an Irish pub with an adjacent B&B without ever getting out the car keys...it made for a great wedding for our daughter and her new husband and a great party for our guests.

I resently got married at the Power's Mansion Inn and my experience was fantastic. The owner Alfred, his assistant Jen, and all of the other staff members were great as well. They made my wedding memorable and accomodated my every wish. On the day of the rehearsal the ballroom was already set up for my wedding so I could approve it and everything was just as we had discussed except for one minor detail that was resolved immediately. The day of the wedding was perfect too. The staff had all the rooms ready and helped keep me calm by having everything in place and running ahead of schedule. The reception ran on time as well and all the guests commented to us that the food was great and it was the best wedding they had every been too. After the wedding many of my guest stayed the night in the mansion with us and no one had any complaints about their rooms. The next morning we had breakfast as a group and the food was excellent and the staff very helpful once again. The food was on time and they had coffee and table settings ready when we arrived. Thank you Power's Mansion for making our special day so perfect!
