Just came back from weekend at Oak Hill Manor. This was my first B&B experience and after our stay, it will definitely not be the last. We were there for my son's graduation from Cal Poly. As is the case, San Luis Obispo was totally booked months in advance due to graduation that weekend. This turned out well as we had to look for different options. Fortunately, I came across the Oak Hill Manor. I was very pleased with the accomodations, the surrounding scenery and the friendly innkeepers, Rise & Maurice. It was close to the freeway, but you could not tell as it was very quiet. They have it nicely landscaped with plenty of chairs and tables around the place to just enjoy reading a book or eating their wonderful breakfast. The room was just plain fantastic. We had the Florentine Suite which was a large suite with two queen beds. Two separate doors to the outdoor area. Before leaving, Rise gave us a tour of the other suites and they were fantastic as well. Very clean and very comfortable. Another plus was that it was very close to San Luis Obispo; just less than 15 minutes away. We hope to go back to enjoy some of the many many wineries and will defnitely call upon Oak Hill Manor again.
