We stayed at this property as a mid-way stop between San Francisco and San Diego. We typically choose either a Holiday Inn Express, Hampton Inn, or Hilton Garden property to stay at when on the road. This is by far the best Holiday Inn Express we have ever stayed at. The property is fairly new, perhaps a just a few years old. It is elegant and upscale for a Holiday Inn Express. The front desk rep was friendly and check in was quick. We were delighted with our room, to say the least. We chose one of the "suites" as we booked off the internet and it said the matresses in the suites were a higher grade and the cost for the upgrade was minimal. The room was huge and had everything one could need. We had a two-queen room. We had a fridge, a bar area, a sofa and table, and desk in addition to the two beds. The bathroom was nice as well. The beds were super-comfy. The room was super-clean. Front desk rep advised us on where to eat dinner and it was a good recommendation. The breakfast was much better than the breakfast at the Hampton we stayed at on the same trip. They had cheese omelettes, sausage patties, bisquits and gravy in addition to all the breads for toasting, yogurt, fresh fruit, etc.. Really impressed with this place and will stay again in a heartbeat!
