“Stay away”

I ordered a item to go from their menu and three long hair showed up inside my food. I let the female cook / owner know what happened over the phone. She laughed and stated, we don't have hair here. Didn't care. Not apolitical, or anything. The husband constantly lectures his customers of his past job, major disappointment. Better food and restaurants down the street.

“Like no other place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 12, 2012

Tiny restaurant outside of the main area : only people who have tried it before or people using Yelp (very good reviews) come here ! :) It is not fast food or quick service so bring a book or friends to have a conversation waiting for your food. The owner might also forget one dish in the order. But this place is fabulous. It serves street food from Mumbai so try things you won't find in any other restaurant and forget about the usual Indian fishes you are used to. Their special drink - a bit like a lassi - is excellent too. My favorite dish was a kind of dumplings served in a white creamy sauce with cilantro and a very very subtile rose water taste. The "cauli 65" was also a great discovery. Order a few dishes and bread and share !

“Average fare”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 13, 2012

We had the chance to try out the food here on a trip to Anaheim Disneyland this month (July 2012). I am from Mumbai/Bombay and am very familiar with the street food there which is advertised to be their main selling point. Read some raving reviews on the net for the food too and had a lot of expectations.
We were a big group and tried a take out of their dishes - vada pau, dabeli, kathiawadi thali, mango lassi, piyush, rotis and a few vegetarian dishes. None of them were anything to write home about.
I am based in New Jersey and did not find the food anywhere near to what we get at some places here in NJ and NYC, and definitely not anywhere near what you get in Mumbai.
