We live in AG and finally got around to trying Alphy's about 3 weeks ago. We've been there more than a dozen times since - the food is OUT OF THIS WORLD WONDERFUL and the staff is incredibly friendly, efficient and just plain kind. There is outside seating, and many customers bring their dogs. I've many many customers being brought a bowl of water for their dogs without even requesting one! Alphy's pulled pork specials are THE BEST ANYWHERE and I've been begging them to put it on the regular menu. Best food in Arroyo Grande, period.

Alphy's has exceptionally good food and wonderful service. The owners work there themselves and always make you feel at home. It is definitely the best place to eat in the village for breakfast or lunch!
