“DISGUSTING”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed September 6, 2011

Walked into our room which was supposed to be non-smoking and it smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke. The carpets looked like they hadn't been cleaned in years, literally. The mattresses are so worn and old that you could literally see the indents in them of where people had slept. Woke up in the morning to make coffee and opened the coffee maker and there were coffee grounds with mold growing on them. Went into the main lobby for so called "breakfast" and there was orange juice, a gallon of milk, some bananas and a few mini muffins, that was IT. My family and I will never stay in this motel again. I don't even know why they call it a hotel it's a MOTEL. This room was worse than a Motel 6!

We stayed at this hotel (actually its more of a motel) for one night because it was the only 3 star hotel on priceline in the area. The experience was so bad that we wanted to post a review next day on priceline.com. Of all of hotels I booked thru priceline, I always got feedback request from priceline after my stay except for this one. I guess they knew the reviews on this motel would be so negative that they didn't want them.
Anyway, let me just warn you that if you care about a good night sleep don't bother with this one. Though there are things like microware and granite in bathroom (which I guess make it three star rating), the room and linen are dirty and poorly furnished. The carpet looks dirty, the blankets have stains and cardboard furnitures all have frayed edges. The rooms are next to the highway, but the doors to the balcany wouldn't close so there was constant noise.
The list can go on for another two pages, but you get the idea. Any positive review on this hotel is probably fake, I cannot imagine someone paying $90/night to stay there would be happy with the way things are at the hotel, which is much worse than $19 Motel6.

Lowest price in town! Just ask the staff for what you need and they will set you up! Be sure to bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper because Hwy. 101 is nearby. We liked it there and we'll be back! C. Hall

We have stayed ere before and are always happy with tthe acomadations. We booked a two queen room and the beds were comfortable. There is nothing fancy about this place, but it is clean and the front desk people are very friendly. It is a good value for the area. There were cookies available at check in and the kids thought that this was a great treat. For a beach area hotel the rooms were clean and comfortable.

Clean, comfortable rooms. Our room had new paint, new carpet and an updated bathroom. The pool looked inviting but we didn't use it.
Overall it was cheapest motel in the area and we would stay there again.
You have to remember some reviewers on Trip Advisor complain about everything!

Yes the Aloha Inn is not the Ritz, but it is a safe clean place to put your head down for a couple of nights.

Convenient access with 101, but SO noisy. We thought the windows were not closed.....but they were!
Also, free wireless was not working, besides the manager's help. Everything else was ok. We were overall very satisfied (price) and would go back.
