“Nice Destination”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 6, 2014

I don't have anything bad to say about the hotel. There is some immanence going on as they are redoing the pool area, but it looked nearly done. Breakfast was the usual fair of fruit, cereal, and waffles. Room we had was on the third floor so the noise wasn't too bad, outside of slamming doors and stuff. The room was fine for the price, although a bit dark and dated with the paint. Bed were just so so. Woke up with sore hips from the bed being hard. Other than that, I would probably stay again if I could get a King sized bed instead of the two doubles. Close to Pismo Beach and all the central coast cities. Right off the 101 for easy access.

We enjoyed our stay at the Best Western Casa Grande Inn, Arroyo Grande, California. The hotel was clean and quiet. The staff was courteous and professional. The only disappointment was the breakfast. As health conscious individuals,we felt there was a lack of whole grains, a limited choice of fruits, and an over abundance of empty carbohydrates.

I have stayed in this Hotel many times and will always stay there when I'm at the Coast. Love it, because they have smoking rooms. The price for what you get on the week days is very good. The weekends a little pricey, but not compared to other hotels in that area. I will be back very soon.

Our stay at this hotel was by far the worst experience I've ever had a BW hotel. Upon check-in the clerk tried to charge us for a room that I was using points on. The room given was outdated, musty odor and not very clean. Washcloths were dirty and had blood on them as if they were just folded from previous guests and put back on rack. There was loud running water somewhere that never stopped and the bed was EXTREMELY HARD, felt like a boxspring with no mattress. We ended up sleeping on the floor, which was more comfortable. Water pressure in shower was non existent. If neighbor flushed toilet or showered at the same time, you got a trickles of water. Upon check-out clerk did not want to hear my concerns and told me to complete the survey and walked away. I will not stay here again and do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

They lost our reservations made a month ahead. Told us we could go elsewhere. We have stayed here many times and have loved it. Told me at the desk that I was confused about the dates. Our anniversary is the same every year, April the 12th!!. I t was our 49th. We were treated rudely. We arrived before 2 pm and were told No Rooms even though I had a person's name and the date I called and a confirm #. It sure took the bloom off the rose. Also the swimming pool had been demolished which no one told us about. Price is very high for weekends in April due to Cal Poly Open House.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. My room was in fact upgraded. Wow! More for the same price , can't beat that ! Coffee, tea and cookies were found in the lobby from 3-6PM. The proximity of the hotel is right off the freeway( near a large mall for the forgotten travel items). Only 10 minutes drive(North) to Pismo Beach for the beach, pier, restaurants and gift shops. The breakfast was filling and free, (waffles, yogurt, cereal etc) but not fancy. The repair of the pool ,spa and fitness will make this an exceptional stay.

My friends and I used this hotel for a stop over on our way to LA from San Fran, it was great.

Quiet with large, clean rooms. Great service from the man the checked us in and indeed all staff that we came across were very helpful and polite.

The pool is currently out of use for an upgrade, this didn't affect us and they were apologetic about it.

They serve up a decent continental breakfast.

We stayed at a lot of hotels on our roadtrip and all agreed this was one of the best, especially for the price!
