Overall the experience was just average... Totally downgraded because of the noisiness if our room.... We stayed in the wing that was afjacent to the front desk, ground floor and the folks above us walked incredibly loudly... The folks cleaning were very loud and noisy in the performance of their duties and maybe because of the age of the facility everything sounded really loud.... So bring ear plugs... The breakfast and other amenities were just average as well and the clothes dryer in the laundry room didnt work very well. And finally to stay in the same room we were charged almost a hundred dollars more for our third night...kinda expensive for such a loud, noisy just average accomadations....

The motel looks nice on the outside. The room was decent, nothing fancy. The annoying part was the several hour power outage. At first the power went on and off--television clicking madly; lights flickering: eventually it went completely off so there was no television, no light to take a shower, and no refrigerator for the baby's formula. I called the front desk, and the clerk basically said that it was an electric company issue; there was nothing that they could do about it, but a flashlight would have been nice. We thought about checking out and going to the next town, but we could barely see by the glow of our cellphone as it was; imagine trying to pack up baby gear and our gear in pitch darkness. Finally, the power came back on. When we checked out in the morning, I asked the clerk and manager about some kind of discount for not having power, but the manager smilingly said, "It's not our fault." It wasn't our fault either, but we got to pay full price for services that were not fully available to us.

A big THANK YOU to Mohan, our friendly front desk associate, for making us feel welcomed and special. Not only did he greet us with a smile, in the midst of a very busy checkin time, but he was kind, generous (as we received an upgraded room!), and informative! The room was clean, easily accessible, and spacious. I wish we were staying longer.

Room Tip: Room 301 was great!

No kidding, we did not think that a motel could be so beautiful. The style is excellent, the rooms are really well designed, and the beds are enormous and comfortable.

We had a really good time here, unfortunately we could only stay one night because of our scheduled trips. However, this is highly recommended. A bit pricier than other motels, but it is worth the extra money.

The wife and I stayed here for one night on our drive from Los Angeles to San Francisco. For the money we paid, I would say this was an excellent stay.

The friendly staff got us settled in very quickly and advised us of tea and cookies in the afternoon in the lobby. Although it was only tea, coffee and cookies, it was the gesture that made it special.

Overall, the rooms where decent size and clean. All the normal amenities where there. Breakfast was also included. Waffles, coffee, tea, fruit, yogurt, toast, juice and cereal may not be fancy but it gave you a good start to the day and for the long drive that's ahead.

Not so typical BW. Really like the Spanish style theme of the hotel, made it feel as though we were in a whole different part of the world.
Hotel rooms were a bit dated, but large and clean. Really liked that the rooms came with a fridge and microwave. Nice flat panel TV.

Property was kept up nicely. They placed one of those timed scent sprays in the elevator that would literally get down into your throat and make you cough every time you got in the elevator. They really need to take it out, way too strong.

Hotel staff was a little gruff, not that personable, friendly enough I guess.

Location is very nice. Very close to all surrounding attractions, but far enough away for some peace and quiet. Price is competitive for the area.

Would definitely stay again.

The staff was nice and welcoming, they has good tips for restaurants. The hotel looks beautiful, rooms are decently sized and clean. It's right by the highway, perfect for a stop in our trip along the coast. The breakfast was not the best ever, but we could make waffles and they was yogurts, fruits, toasts, juices, tea/coffee. We didn't need more.

Room Tip: it's cheaper to buy a room through a third party
