“Peaceful Oasis on the Central Coast”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 29, 2013

Oh, my. This is a most delightful inn and well-worth the 5-star ratings it has received. The Casitas was the perfect setting for a mother-daughter weekend to celebrate the end of summer. Tony and Pat are warm, hospitable, and informative about nearby restaurants and sites. They quietly deliver coffee and a mouth-watering breakfast right to the door of your cottage, enabling you to greet the morning from your patio, listening to songbirds and watching the fog slip from the valley floor. An unexpected perk was the presence of their adorable Iceland Sheepdog, Kona, who stole our hearts. The Casitas is pricey, but if you're looking for a truly special getaway, save your pennies and splurge on a stay at this beautiful B & B.

Room Tip: We stayed at the pool house, which is set a bit away from the other cottages and the main house. It...

Having recently spent one night at The Casitas, my husband and I can certainly understand why this B&B is rated #1 in Arroyo Grande. From the fantastic view of the valley and the mountains, the beautifully landscaped grounds, the lovely and comfortable decor- including the fabulous Ralph Lauren bedding - Tony and Pat have provided everything that a guest could ask for in a B&B and then some! My only problem is that we did not book here for 2 or 3 nights and travel the SLO wine country and parts north and south from The Casitas. The Casitas was far and away the best place we stayed during our 8 days in California. It is one of those places that is so special you will always have a lovely memory of your time there. If we lived in CA, I would stay there several times a year. I hope to return. Thank you, Tony and Pat for a memorable stay.

Loved everything about the Casitas Estate. The Castitas are perched on a hillside overlooking the valley below. The Spanish style architecture is beautiful and the rooms are luxurious and comfortable with comfortable king beds, luxury linens by Ralph Lauren, a fireplace and patio. At night it is so peaceful and quiet; you can see a million stars. They have thought of every detail for guest comfort. The throw was perfect for wrapping up in to sit outdoors and stargaze. The pool is a great place to relax after a busy day of touring. A highlight is the gourmet breakfast delivered to your room each morning. Owner's Pat and Tony are exceptional and make guests feel special and cared for. I can't wait to come back and stay longer! Location is ideal for exploring area wineries, the beach, hiking, etc.

Room Tip: All the rooms are lovely

The Casitas of Arroyo Grande is THE place to stay in Arroyo Grande. If you want privacy in a quiet location this is the place for you. Our hosts, Pat and Tony were very warn and welcoming and full of information about the city. The inn has 4 casitas with each room completely separate from the others. The room was extremely clean, very comfortable and richly appointed. It has a private patio where my husband and I enjoyed a delicious gourmet breakfast. The bathroom was large with a tub/shower combination. The bedroom was spacious with a comfortable bed, your choice of soft or firm pillows and a wood burning fireplace. The gardens that surround the inn are lush and make you want to wander. The Casitas is in a great location, close to downtown AG and just minutes from Edna Valley Vineyards and San Luis Obispo. We highly recommend The Casitas and would stay there again

As an Events Coordinator for a very busy catering company here on the Central Coast of California, I have worked many events at The Casitas of Arroyo Grande. The gracious owners, Pat & Tony, are also warm, accommodating and welcoming. There are three separate cottages on property with a beautiful poolside cottage down from the main house. Breakfast is served in the morning to guests that have stayed the night. Gorgeous views and small town hospitality are your here. Events of any type, large or small are enhanced by this magical Bed & Breakfast.

Room Tip: They all are wonderful!

A completely beautiful and very unique property! Kind and caring hosts, lots of privacy, quiet, and a great breakfast delivered to your own private patio. Horses on the hillside added to the serenity. The fog stayed further inland (apparently, it usually does) so we enjoyed soaking up some warm sunshine while preparing to enter the real world at the end of our vacation. Amazing lap pool with stunning landscaping all around. Only 10 minutes from town. What a shame we only stayed one night. We may just have to move there--- but until then, we will be repeat guests. Spend the money, it's more than worth it! It would be a fabulous place for a small but elegant wedding.

Had a wonderful 2-day stopover at The Casitas. It was the perfect halfway stay between San Francisco and Los Angeles before flying home to Australia. Great hosts, gorgeous property, delicious breakfasts and beautifully appointed rooms. Thanks Tony and Pat. Will recommend to our Australian family and friends and we would love to come back next time we're in the US.
