We ate there on Sunday. The food was excellent. The chefs there must be very skilled, because all the food was really fresh and well-prepared & presented. I felt like it was better than the average Outback Steakhouse, and waaay better than the average chain restaurant (Applebee's, Chili's, Olive Garden, Macaroni Grill). In this vein, I also felt the food was prepared with above-average care. My husband and I were extremely impressed with the quality of both the service and food, especially the seafood. We had seared ahi, grilled shrimp, scallops, and crab-stuffed shrimp. The scallops were perfectly cooked, as was the ahi appetizer. It was of the quality that I expect from authentic Japanese sushi joints, and this is a steakhouse! The wild rice also evinced extra care, with the sun-dried tomatoes and whatever else went into the seasoning. Again, way better than the average rice. Mango iced tea: fresh and flavorful. Prime rib: perfect. Carrot cake: rich and savory. Blue cheese & pecan salad: fresh, refreshing, the perfect size (perhaps a skotch too much dressing). Grilled pineapple: great touch! Kudos on everything. Outback Arcadia really hit this one out of the park on Sunday. I kept asking throughout the meal why we don't eat there more often.
