If you're looking for a peaceful place-forget it. If you've got young, noisy kids that love to run in the halls and stomp on the floor-you've got your hotel! We reserved a quiet room-the grounds looked lovely on-line-and truthfully-they were. But this is not a serene setting. I requested a "quiet room" as I have sleep issues. We arrived 10 minutes after check-in and were told all upper floor rooms were gone. I find that hard to believe, but arguing on a vacation isn't what I wanted to do. A quality hotel would have honored my request that was made in advance, paid for, and a Rewards member-even if it meant an upgrade. But, nope, we're on the bottom floor and got to enjoy the stomping while we tried to relax. While breakfast isn't awful, it's nothing special. Hopefully you'll like it-because you'll get the exact same thing the next day. And don't be late, because they don't replenish. In all fairness, the restaurant and lounge are decent, and there's a lovely small patio to sit on. But if you're a young, romantic couple or older without kids-do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.
Since they don't honor your request, don't bother requesting anything.

Thank you for your honesty and the time you took to write your feelings. Although it distresses us to learn of any shortcoming at our hotel it gives us an opportunity to continually better serve our guests. We are very sorry to hear about the discomfort you experienced while staying with us. You happened to have been here during our very busy summer season and experienced us at our busiest. We try our best to accommodate all of our guests’ requests. However, in the busy summer season it is difficult to fulfill everyone’s request. I recommend visiting us in the off season when kids are back in school and our facility is more tranquil. I appreciate the feedback and I am sorry you did not have the typical Seacliff Inn experience.
