“View and lunch”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 17, 2014 via mobile

We love to go here for lunch - sit on the patio and look at the ocean. We both ordered the Maria Rita- really good but kinda small. I had the chile rellenos - I have learned on previous visit to order with the sauce on the side to prevent it from getting soggy. It was very good. My husband had beef enchilada and tostada - both nicely prepared.

Service was attentive, without being over the top.

“Expensive”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 16, 2014

Two house drinks between us and shared a main course, over $70 with tip. Food was good, not great. Good atmosphere and great service holds this place up.

“Going downhill”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed May 29, 2014

This used to be one of my favorite restaurants - I love the seafood with the Pacaific coastal fusion tastes whether that be the ceviche tostadas, seared ahi or amazing seafood salads. This was our go-to place when we had out-of-towners come to visit. Cocktails on the deck with the sunset are delightful.

Our visit last month was off, but everyone has an off night. Last night was really disappointing. Service was awful, bordering on rude - it took us over two hours to order drinks, food and be served. Our food didn't even arrive at the table at the same time and we were only a party of 4. The food was skimpy and slopily presented and the guacamole wasn't even guacamole - we were served squished avocado - no lemon, no tomato, no cilantro,no onion, no seasoning or anything that made it more than squished avos. Thank goodness for the sunset - the food and service were down right embarrasing.

If we go back, it wil be us alone until they can gain our trust again.

“Guacamole ”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 23, 2014

The refried beans were too watery and not much taste.
The rice was average and the salad was...a salad...ranch dressing was average. The guacamole was what I liked the best. It does have some ocean view...open and airy feel.
