“Relaxing”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 8, 2013

The view and location are absolutely perfect. We had a two bedroom villa with ocean view and found that it was very quiet and relaxing. We even had deer feeding outside our sliding glass door. The décor was nice and had a beach feel but the sofa was very uncomfortable and needed to be updated. The bed was very comfortable but the furnishing had a very used feel. The staff was very friendly and service was fast/ Room service was fast and the food good. I would definitely return but would like a better ocean view which may not be possible because we do need a handicap access room.

Room Tip: Room on the north side are very quiet.

Perfect resort for a breathtaking wedding. Romantic location amazing food, fantastic golfing, terrific staff. But and there always is one. A very rude housekeeper on two occasions tried to shove herself and duty cart into an elevator already full of our wedding guests. When we asked her if she could wait for next ride she said no. Hmmm nic sure if the management realizes that this is happening. I will be back though as this is such a romantic getaway.

We recently spent the weekend at a two bedroom villa at Seascape. If I was rating the resort based on location and view- it would be a five star easily! There is no denying the views. As for the suite itself- I was really let down. The two-bedroom was $480 per night. For that I really expected to be wow'ed- luxury was what I was thinking. The room itself was really dated. It is set up like a small townhouse- kitchen, living room, small patio deck with a bbq, two bedrooms. The master had its own bathroom (shower only). Second bedroom was adequate, bathroom in hall and washer/dryer upstairs. The only benefit is that you could have many people stay with you as the living room had a sofa sleeper. Due to the outdated suite- it really felt like an extended stay property. The suite was very clean, but had many things in need of repair. Also, huge disappointment that there is no A/C offered in the room at all. With many people in the living room area, we really could of used air circulation- all we had was the heater and patio door. Not enough on oddly hot days. I have been to resort that offer a similar room setting, but it was updated and included other "free" amenities and was more plush. If we stay in this area again, I would rather just get a room elsewhere than pay the almost $500 a night for something I could find at Homewood Suites or Residence Inn for more than half the cost. The view was beautiful, but not $500 a night beautiful in my opinion. If you are looking for a place on the beach, don't mind the outdated rooms or no A/C then this place is

Very nice place. Stayed here for 4 nights with my family for a vacation and will keep coming back. The beach is right behind you, feet away. The swimming pool, and spa were very nice and peaceful the landscaping was brilliant and beyond words! I recommend Seascape to anyone, who enjoys luxury! The bonfire pits located just feet away were a bonus, there is a Golf cart service that will take you to the beach for the fire. Smores galore! It's a wonderful place for a family vacation!!

I was at Seascape for a conference, but got to enjoy the resort in the three days while I was there. Lovely setting - get an ocean view room or miss out on one of the best parts of the hotel. Place is vaguely dated and in need of some modernisation but not negatively so. Staff are helpful and attentive. There is a really good gym across the road in the nearby Seascape Village - really an excellent health club far superior to most hotel and resort gyms. Seascape is relaxing and very well situated, any negative would be really in that places date very quickly and some update could be beneficial but I rate Seascape very good.

Room Tip: pay the extra for ocean view room

We recently spent several night at the Seascape Resort and loved our experience. The suites are beautifully decorated and our request for an ocean view balcony couln't have been more perfect. The unit was clean, the kitchen well stocked with everything we needed. We especially appreciated items we don't often find in these types of suites such as extra coffee filters, various teas and sweeteners, salt and pepper, and a full compliment of glassware, dishware and utensils. We would highly recommend a stay at this resort.

Room Tip: Ocean view was great, so I'd pay the few extra dollars to enjoy this beautiful site during sunse...

The location is wonderful, with magnificent views of Monterey Bay and the late August weather is a welcome relief from the Texas heat. Our one bedroom unit was clean and well equipped with a galley kitchen. The bedroom was small and the queen sized bed filled the room. The bathroom was tight but adequate for two people. The living area was relatively large and the décor fit a beachfront property. Don't go thinking that the rooms in this resort are on par with a Four Seasons Hotel or The Ritz, but the rooms that I visited were all quite functional. I also suggest that you request feather pillows when you check in because the foam versions in the rooms are not good.

The bonfires on the beach are a fun activity. There is good Mexican restaurant across the street from the resort, as well as a small grocery store and coffee shop that have a variety of hot breakfast items. We never ate at the resort itself.

There is plenty to see and do in this part of the central coast and we had a great time.
