We stayed in a two-bedroom "villa", a two-story two bedroom condo. It was very nice, quiet, and had a view of the water. I would think this room might be worth as much $300/nt for four but not much more.
If you stay ask for a room NOT in front of a pool as that area can get loud at night. The entire resort is up on the bluff and the grounds are very nicely maintained. Families and dogs are allowed which gives a good reason to use the facility for a family retreat or perhaps a wedding.
The wedding spot is well placed. If it were free to use if you booked multiple rooms it may offer someone a good venue.
Use of the nearby private health and tennis club is a BIG plus.(I added pictures of their pool and grounds)
The Sanderlings restaurant was very nice. The "skillet deal" for breakfast was awesome and a good deal at $7. Loved the fish tank; whoever cares for that should get a raise-perhaps that is outside contracted.
Advice to management:
The golf carts totally turned us off. They were loud, obnoxious, stinky, and unnecessary. Perfectly heathly and able people were being transported just "for the ride". At least get GEOs or some other electric vehicles.
2. Open the hot tub at 6 in the morning.
