They were totally booked and only had a whirlpool king suite so we thought it would be nice treat even if it was quite expensive for Anderson, CA...Wrong..the room was very dirty and dumpy. The whirlpool tub had not been cleaned, the mirror above it had hand prints on it, the bathroom floor was dirty and the carpet had not been vacuumed and had strange lumps underneath it!! There were also a couple of ants crawling across the bed and nightstand. The only piece of furniture was a broken-down recliner. The indoor pool area looked nice, we did not try it. The continental breakfast was mediocre. We would not stay there again.

I stayed here for a night while on a 3 week trip through northern California. I had no problems whatsoever. I found the room to be very clean, and really didn't notice anything amiss with the bed linens. Some front desk staffers were a bit discombobulated, but a little patience went a long way.

Would I stay here again? Sure. But just to play it safe, I would pay a bit more attention to the bed linens.

Dirtiest place I ever seen..Look under pillow cases and they are stained and smell..I cant beleive they use them.. I asked for another room and same thing..I left.

This place is the worst very dirty.
I stayed there 2 weeks for business on and off. I suspected a room I was in they didnt change sheet.
So I marked it , came back to room 4 days later and asked for that room and they used same sheet and some was in there after me!
I complained but I later found out maids do it all the time talking to some truck drivers there.. Stay away! Dont look behind night stands either they have things growing on carpet. very dirty place.

My family spent 4 nites at this location. We've stayed at this 'Inn" since they opened but will never stay here again. Problems we experienced:

Rattling AC unit which was so loud that we couldn't hear the TV or ...SLEEP!

A broken TV. color was bad, and only local stations were accessible
Wash cloths were torn and tattered

No smoke alarm during 2 nites of our stay

Hot tub inlet was not properly covered and sucked your foot into the tube! This is/was a huge health/safety risk. I have notified OSHA

All above issues were communicted to numerous desk staff. Unbelievably, the night manager (Leticia) called me a liar and was combative regarding the AC and TV issue. I personally spoke with the owner of this franchise(Roger Kumar). He said that he would "look into it", but he __NEVER__ responded to my issues. I have written a letter to AMERIHOST to document my complaints. I have stayed at everyplace from Motel 6 to the Ritz Carlton, but never experienced the total lack of Customer Service and overall rude behavior that this "Inn" provided.
