“Fantastic Property!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 13, 2012

This great property is certainly worth the stop. The staff was friendly and helpful and after a long day in the car, that means a lot to me! As does the clean and comfortable room we stayed in. The location cannot be beat - with stores and restaurants handy - including a fantastic antique mall a short walk across the parking lot! I've chosen Best Western many times and am never disappointed; but this place went above and beyond. The breakfast was delicious; the beds comfy and location is perfect -- and EXCELLENT value all around!

We were traveling from Washington state to San Diego. We stopped at the Best Western in Anderson, CA our first night. It is easy to find, right off of I-5, which is a plus. It is close to shopping, such as Safeway, Dollar Tree. There are also several restaurants to choose from whether you are looking for fast food or a sit down restaurant. There were also a few gas stations nearby.

The kids got into the pool and played right away, this was a plus. :-)

The room was adequate for our needs. There were plenty of pillows on the bed, and the beds weren't uncomfortable. The only thing I didn't really like was the shower, but it could have been my sensitive skin. You also couldn't adjust the shower head.

The front desk staff was friendly and there were enough items to choose from for the continental breakfast. If we are ever in the area again, I certainly wouldn't mind staying here again.

We were traveling with 3 adults, 3 children and a dog. There was a field nearby for walking the dog.

I'm not sure if Best Western did a global sweep upgrade, but the last 2 Best Westerns I've stayed in have been 2 of the best Best Westerns, and hotels in general, ever. Again, this one has a staff that seems genuinely happy to work here, they are super engaging, and the place is SUPER CLEAN. The breakfast was AWESOME too! A full breakfast with eggs, beacon and waffles. Please, what a place, I WILL stay here again.

I had a lot of cleanliness issues here and let them know everyone...Just plain dirty...They really need to try harder, start with housekeeping and sweeping outside....This Best Western Plus is just in a bad location too...It's all in a dirty parking lot , concrete or asphalt, with little, or no, landscaping or living plants.....Very unappealing......We usually stay at the Gaia Hotel but it was too crowded with a wedding party......I would not stay here again......

They did allow our puppy (yeah!), and the staff was super...Breakfast was fine really.....The A.C. was terribly noisy, and it was still hot in the room all night...

The staff was very pleasant and the room spacious and clean except for a stain on the carpet. They even had a towel creature on the bed to great you like they have on some of the cruise ships.

Breakfast was good with hot items but the room was small. Two tables for two and two for four.

My only complaint is that I was expecting more since it was a 'Plus' hotel and it was just an old hotel that has been fixed up. It was quiet, but the location is not in the the best area.

Room Tip: There are no elevators if you get a top floor.

My husband and I drove our daughter down to California last month with all her belongings! It was about 109 degrees one of the days we were there. We were thrilled that the pool was so clean and cared for! We used it at least twice. The room was very clean and up to date as well. The breakfast was adequate for us and the location was easy access to the freeway or a back highway to Redding. I would stay here again as it was also less money than Redding.

Got to my room and was very pleasantly surprised at how nice it was! Clean, nice king bed, close to food and shopping. Very convenient and less expensive than the inn down the road.
Amanda at the front desk was brilliant and found the king sized bed I needed and recommended a restaurant for dinner which was very good. I'll stay here again...

Room Tip: Just ask for what you want when checking in!
