“A very pleasant surprise”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 17, 2012

A family emergency brought us to Anderson shortly before Christmas, and this was the first place we saw from the freeway. Staying here was a pleasure. Our room was clean and quiet with a very comfortable bed. Desk clerks Farrah and Pattie were friendly and attentive, and the free breakfast was a definite cut above what we've had in similarly priced motels. We'd definitely stay here again.

We were in room 110-A. It was small, with a huge awkward sink/clothing area that was mostly wasted space. The room had 2 queen beds squeezed in it. We had 3 adults and a dog (yes, we paid the $20.00 pet fee). The bathroom was small and in such an inconvenient location that the person sleeping in the bed closest to the door could barely sqeeze around the bed closest to the bathroom. It is an older property and frankly for the $104.00 we spent, I am sure there were several nicer hotels we could have found. We were fooled by the TripAdvisor and the fact that it was a Best Western. By the way, they tell you at check-in they are running a contest on TripAdvisor to get the most comments.

Large clean rooms and very friendly staff. We stayed two nights for a baby shower and it was perfect. Easy access to I-5, gasoline and grocery stores and the price was right. Continental breakfast was convenient and well stocked. We went to the Mexican restaurant next door but would not go back there. The food was flavorless and the service was poor. We should have asked for a refund!

Very clean hotel. Comfortable beds. Close to shops and restaurants. We stayed one night with our RV on our way to Arizona. The staff were very helpful and we ate at a very good mexican restaurant 2 blocks away near the athletic club.

Easy I-5 freeway on off! Good clean rooms. Nice Mexican restaurant right next door. Good free breakfast in morning. Rooms are clean and comfortable and reasonably priced! There is also other fast food places in the immediate area and gas stations.

We have stayed at this Best Western several times over the years, but had not passed this way for sometime. It has always been a wonderful place to stay, but boy were we surprised this time. Thought it might not be the right place, but it was. Great upgrade! Better than it was before, and you can be sure it be on our schedule next trip to California.
