We stayed here for one night in October.
This motel is fine. We did not stay in one of the renovated rooms, which I hear are very nice. Our room was old but clean. It was definitely showing signs of wear and tear. I hated the beds. The mattress felt thin and hard. The AC unit was a little noisy. Those two elements together made for a bad sleep. There was still some construction going on around the property but overall the property appeared well maintained. The only problem was that they did not maintain their palm trees. It was very windy and large pieces of dead palm tree were falling all over. We found a piece on our car (no damage) and a large piece nearly fell on my daughter. Trimming the trees would solve this problem and prevent potential damage to people or property! The breakfast was so so. Cheap donuts, bagels, cereal, some fruit and hard boiled eggs. They also had coffee, juice and tea. The room was very small, like a closet, with items on the countertops on both sides of the room. This made it difficult to get through, especially with food in hand and kids in tow. It lead to a seating area outside that looked nice but the weather was not great so we took the food back to our room. If I were staying here multiple days we would not have been happy with the breakfast but for one day it was fine. The pool area looked nice and the pool was clean. Parking was tight but better than other Harbor Blvd. places. The employees were all very nice. For what we paid and the location this place is a good value. I would stay here again for a quick Disneyland visit if the price was right. There is nothing special about it that would make us return time after time (we visit Disney 3-4 times a year).

Room Tip: Ask for a renovated room. You may pay more but it would be worth it.

The feedback regarding your recent vacation with us is much appreciated. We apologize that you did not get a restful night’s sleep during your stay. Please know that we have a skilled engineer on property that is able to fix or replace a noisy AC unit as necessary. Thank you for your suggestions in regards to trimming the trees – We always appreciate feedback as to how we may better accommodate our current and future guests to the best of our ability :) We do have a company that takes care of this for us, but the day you stayed was unseasonably windy, resulting in unexpected tree debris all around the city of Anaheim! It seems from your comments that the value and location were both positive aspects of your stay, and we hope to have the chance to welcome you back as a return guest on your next Disneyland vacation :)

We normally book the Deluxe View Fireworks Room (previously the Premium Room). With the new wing open for our fall trip, we chose to try the 2-qn bed superior room. We got a pre-pay special, with $30 Disney Dollars ($10/each night), and a gift basket upon arrival.

We last stayed at this same Ramada in May, 2013, so just a few months ago. The parking lot has since been configured, but had no difficulty finding a spot, even 6 hours before check-in time.

Arrived at 10am on 9/25 knowing the room wouldn't be ready. The clerk immediately handed me an envelope with my name on it, $30 Disney dollars inside, we completed the check-in process except for assigning a room number, got our parking pass, and parked. We spend the entire day in the parks (they offered tickets for purchase, but we have annual passes) then came back at 9:00 pm to get our room key. We had room 243. The new elevator isn't working yet, so we had to go up the "old" elevator and walk around the building to our room. Since we were headed this direction anyway, it didn't really matter.

Room was NICE! Still had new carpet/furnishing faint smell. Not a bad thing. Everything was PRISTINE. Set-up is exactly like the Deluxe View Fireworks room - but - the furnishings are nicer. I'm told the room is slightly bigger too (though not noticeable at all).

Bathroom was nice - the pull-out door was tricky for my kids, but it did prevent anyone from getting whacked upon opening the door. My main complaint on previous trips was that the sink took forever to get hot water ... we had PLENTY! Double-sink area Kohler amenities. LOTS of outlets, missing in the older rooms as well. LOVED IT!

I have 2 minor, minor complaints which would not even make me think twice about booking here again: 1. The Deluxe View Fireworks rooms have multi-function shower-heads. It would have been a nice touch to have these here too ... for those of us with long, thick hair, sometimes a little extra power is needed to rinse! There's just a standard shower head here. 2. There is a very nice stand-alone closet/valet. The Deluxe View Fireworks rooms have a rectangular table. I prefer the extra table to put the suitcases & misc stuff on while we are gone for the day. I don't like keeping bags on the floor of hotels, no matter how new/clean due to a bad experience in Houston.

I have no complaints about the small breakfast space. Really - they give a decent amount of food for having such a small space. it's Free.

I would highly recommend the superior rooms (and I have to several people already!).

Room Tip: Room 243 - Excellent. Splurge the extra few $$, go Superior. At the very least, stay in a Deluxe V...

We only stayed one night so it was perfect for us, I had the beginning of a cold so the hot tea and condiments were convenient. The only downfalls were the noise, I wad awaken many times during the night then when the employee came in the morning since we were next to the breakroom. Also I thought the blowdryer was going to electricute me, I let the front desk know so hopefully they fix it.
