My wife, young son, and I stayed at the Ramada Plaza in order to visit Disneyland and California Adventure which are walking distance away. While both parks impressed us, both my wife and I came away from this vacation very impressed with everything that the Ramada had to offer. The room was clean, very nice, and comfortable. The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly, going above and beyond to see to our satisfaction. The complimentary breakfasts were very good and filling (and saved us more than a few dollars eating at the parks).

Any family hoping to have a great trip to Disneyland/California Adventure should consider the Ramada Plaza as it is a fantastic hotel at a very, very affordable price. It is a short walk to the parks (10-15 minutes), they allow us to leave our car in their parking lot for the duration of our trip (even for several hours after we checked out), and the staff and amenities make for a very relaxing place to stay.

I researched lots of hotels prior to choosing this one and I was not disappointed. We used this hotel as our base for Anaheim and our travels thru Los Angeles and San Diego (Eg. Seaworld, Legoland,Universal, Hollywood..). The location is great, 15 min easy stroll to Disneyland/downtown Disney with a one yr old in a stroller and next door to restaurants, shops and bus stop right outside hotel (great for tour buses). Walking to Disney saved us time and money as no having to wait in line for shuttle buses meant we could get there when we wanted to not when the shuttle bus was scheduled. While this is not a 5 star hotel it is still a really very good hotel in every way. This hotel had the whole package, free hot breakfast, great free wifi, free parking, fridge, room safe, microwave, view of fireworks from our window, heated pool and the rooms were so clean,comfortable and a good size,the location practical. The hotel offers a clothes washing service but like most hotels this is pricey but at least two coin operated washing machines and driers are available as another alternative which is cheaper if you need clean clothes. We stayed two weeks so using the laundry while still not as cheap as would be washing at home was a good option. We washed while we swam in the pool in the evenings so we could utilise our time better. Our room was on the third floor, there was some noise from people on the floor above us but this was minor. Our room faced the pool and carpark but noise wasn't a problem. We did not use the air conditioner so we could not say if it was noisy. The water pressure for our showers/ baths was very good and had no problems. The lobby is beautiful and while not a brand new hotel it is very clean and well looked after. The rooms are much nicer than the photos might show. Breakfast was good but we didn't eat dinner at the restaurant, mainly because with 3 small children indian food doesn't agree with them. The kids loved the pool and the Disney channels in our room and lobby. I believe there is no kids club which is fine with us as we never use them and prefer to spend all our time together with our children, but it might be an idea to check if it's your thing. What really makes this hotel even better is that everyone at the hotel is genuinly friendly and helpful. From the cleaners who do a great job to the manager. We arrived early and were given a room straight away as well as late checkout, even holding our luggage safely after we checked out so we could still enjoy the rest of the day before catching the late long flight home. Bernardo at the desk is very knowledgable and had some good advice. The knight in shinning armour was Arthur- he was so nice and helped us when we needed it, he was so professional and made our family (as well as others) feel special and nothing was a problem. Our experience at the hotel was a positive one and I have recommended this hotel to my families and friends and if we are able to holiday in anaheim again we will stay here again.

Very conveniently located, about 15 minutes from entrance to parks. Rooms were quiet and comfortable, although the bed mattresses were way too firm. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Included breakfast was outstanding, much more than the typical "freebies".
