We stayed three nights at the Anaheim Islander Inn and Suites for our first visit to Disneyland. I had made our reservations months in advance and confirmed several days before our travel.
The property was exactly what we expected after research; small with outside entrances, and a short walk to Disneyland. The front desk staff was pleasant and assisted us with our shuttle return to the airport as well as very kindly printing out our boarding passes for our flight home.
My main criteria for a hotel is cleanliness ~ the housekeeping staff did an excellent job of keeping our room clean and neat; with special focus on the bathroom which is of utmost importance to us ~ even the faucets were sparkling! As another reviewer noted, the carpets could use a good cleaning; we just wore socks.
The beds were comfortable and we slept well; didn't hear noise at all. Extra towels were supplied immediately upon request. Didn't have the opportunity to use the pool but it looked clean and well kept.
Continental breakfast got us started in the morning ~ usual danish and muffins were enough to get us moving for the 10-15 minute walk to Disneyland. Coffee left a little to be desired but we find that in most hotels.
We would definitely stay here again if we return to Anaheim.More
