My friend and I were looking for a reasonably priced, clean, comfortable, no-frills place to stay within walking distance of the Disneyland complex, and this hotel was just great for that.
The man at the front desk was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay -- from check-in to the purchase of Disneyland tickets to check-out. He even gave us a bogo coupon for a local eatery.
The 2-bed room wasn't very big, but it was fine for the two of us. The closet space was a little tight because of the micro-fridge taking up that area. Also, the bathroom was pretty small (very little counter space), but again, this was fine for two guys with minimal toiletries. Everything seemed clean and well taken care of.
Because the door (outside corridors, by the way) didn't have a tight seal all the way around it, outside noise could have been a problem, but this was late January and there weren't many people around. Plus we had a room away from the street. If we had been nearer the street and there were more guests coming and going, the noise might have been bothersome. Also, the parking lot is kind of small and could have been tight, but there were so few cars there at this time of the year that it wasn't an issue.
The free breakfast was pretty minimal, but for the low room rate we paid, I wasn't expecting much. There were orange juice, coffee, apples, and small pre-packaged pastries. We didn't use the pool, so I'm not sure how it was. It didn't look too bad.
Because the south entrance to the Disneyland complex was closed for construction/remodeling of California Adventure, the walk was a bit longer than it used to be. It took us about 12 to 15 minutes to walk from the hotel to the park entrance, which isn't a big deal for us, but some people might not be too enthused -- especially after walking around the parks all day.
I think we really lucked out because of the time of year (as far as the low rate, the ease of parking, low noise, etc.). I would definitely consider staying here again!
