Thanks so much for your friendliness, helpfullness, both before and during our stay. The waterpark was really fun, and the room was comfortable and close enough to Disneyland that we didn't wear out before we got there. Thanks again

Stayed at this fantastic hotel with my 3 year old son and mother for 3 nights.
Rooms are bright, well equipped. I took a blow up bed for my son and saved $15 a night on the extra bed. Coffee machine, fridge, great shower, plenty of wardrobe space/hangers, comfy beds - no faults at all.
We had a room overlooking the pirate pool with a balcony. Not too noisy, unless the door is open, but just kid noise, so went in one ear and out the other!
Pirate pool is fantastic, adult pool a lovely quieter option.
Well stocked shop with milk, cereal, bread, sweets, toys, beer, wine, crisps etc etc.
6-8 min walk from Disney, didn't need to use the shuttle once.
Mimi's cafe great food/drinks. Also went to Captain Kidd's for the buffet, which was a bit ropey, but we managed to find the best bits and it was cheap!!

Room Tip: We have a toddler, so was happy to be near the pirate pool. I could imagine it would be nice to ove...

We had a great stay at HoJo Anaheim recently. We had a 2 Queen Deluxe room in building two, overlooking the pool. Room size was good, plenty of storage space for luggage, clothing and shopping. The bathroom was getting a little tired but was clean, so no issues, and the rest of the room was in good condition. The carpets were very forgiving, particularly with sunscreen and yoghurt...

Building Two was very quiet. The corridor backs on to the freeway, and this was double glazed, so had no noise come in to the room. Fortunately evenings weren't too hot, as the AC unit had two fan speeds - loud and really loud, so we couldn't keep it on while sleeping. The bedding was VERY comfortable, and we had no trouble sleeping, though this could have been partly Disnexhaustion. The coffee maker was great - we had some of our better coffee in the room, though this is more a comment on the quality of coffee we found elsewhere...

The pool and Pirate Cove were great, though our kids (7 & 4) didn't like the water bucket, so all our time was in the regular pool. There were always towels available, and the water temp was good (though a couple of degrees warmer would always be nice). The rest of the grounds were very well maintained, and there was no rubbish to be seen anywhere. The shop was very convenient, a pleasant surprise was the Anderson Valley beers in amongst the standard Buds & Coors, particularly the Hop 'Ottin IPA.

Apart from the noisy AC, the other thing we had problems with was the patchy WiFi. At times it was good, fast even, but other times it was hard just getting a connection. Definitely an area that needs improvement, and one of the factors that stops be giving out 5 stars. One other minor irritation was with the laundry, specifically the washing machines. The night we HAD to do laundry, one machine was down (but fixed later that week), and the other two were in use with loads waiting. There are 6 dryers. The other night we did laundry there were no delays, so the first night may have just been bad luck.

The location was good, but I was envious of those staying in the few places just across the road from the park entrance. This could partly be due to my 4yo Princess whose preferred transport from the park was on my shoulders. It was around 15 minutes for us from turnstile to our room. ART is available but looked to be more effort than it was worth, taking in to account cost, walking to the pickup point, plus HoJo was the last stop on the route.

We would definitely stay here again, and have already started planning out trip for same time next year!

Great family hotel within walking distance to everything Disney.
Room was big but a little outdated.
probably in the process of being updated as the rooms all had new flatscreen LG tvs.
Little fridge and microwave is great for the families.

Right next to I5 but did not hear the traffic noise.

Little water park is nice touch for the little ones but it's truly for those aged 1 to about 4/5.

No parking fee as well!
