We asked for a room facing the park so that we could watch fireworks from our balcony. We got a room facing the park and a large tree blocking our view.
The bathroom fan didn't work which made it a steam bath but we were only staying two nights and changing rooms after we had settled in was NOT an option on my radar.
The biggest annoyance - the laundry. We got soaked our first day at the park. We came back planning to use the hotel dryers to dry off our jackets before returning to the park. I carried the laundry into the basement only to discover the laundry was closed and that I should use the facility in another building. So, back up and across the yard to the other building only to find the majority of the dryers out of service and the postage stamp size facility occupied by numerous guest using and waiting for the the three working dryers. I ended up using the hair dryer in our room to dry out our clothes.
Our room near the elevator was not ideal but worst was the slamming doors!!
On the plus side - the kids loved the water park and pool. The shower had plenty of hot water, the store was a nice convenience and the hotel staff was helpful/ pleasant. The location close to Disneyland was great and the restaurant next door was top notch.
