“Awesome hotel with excellent staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 days ago NEW

We arrived to the Hotel Indigo and was greeted by Arthur who helped us with our luggage and immediately checked us in. Arthur was very helpful and gave us the best advice on anything we asked him, be it for tickets to the theme parks, renting cars and going to baseball game.
We were upgraded to the top floor street view which was recommended by Arthur. The room was fantastic, very quiet and had view of the street fountain which had a water show every night. The room was very comfortable which my husband and I loved. The room was well decorated and kept very clean. Bathroom was large and very modern.
The Hotel Indigo is about 10 minute walk to the two theme parks, and is surrounded by great restaurants.
We stayed here for 3 nights and returned after 4 night stay in Las Vegas as hotel was great with super friendly staff with free parking and not to distant to downtown LA.
We will definitely be back and recommend this hotel to anybody wanting to stay in Anaheim.

The staff were super friendly, the room was better than I expected for the price and it was only a short walk from Disney land. Would definitely recommend anyone to stay there, the staff friendliness makes the whole experience super easy. Best value for money! The laundry facilities were super helpful, plenty of places to eat near by.....

We stayed here for two nights while visiting Disneyland. We loved all the funky furnishings and the modern look of this boutique hotel. We had a 2 room suite with separate living area and two TV's, and we loved it. The bathroom was clean and spacious with all modern fixtures. The pool and hot tub looked very nice, with a lounge area next to it. We didn't get to swim though because we were doing the parks. The front desk staff were very helpful and pleasant, even though we showed up well before check-in time. Arthur was especially nice! It was a bit of a walk to and from the park, but well worth it. We loved it!!

This hotel is now my new favorite in the Disneyland area. The rooms are spacious and modern with a wood floor. The same can be said for the bathroom with a new sink and tile. Housekeeping did a good job with the cleaning. We did not walk to the Disney parks while we were there so I cannot comment on the distance. We purchased our Disneyland tickets from our local AAA office and our 2-day passes came with free parking for each day, so we made use of this and drove to the park each day. We were here the July 4th weekend and parking in their underground parking structure was full after a late night at the park. We had to park by a wall not in an actual parking spot. Other cars were parking in the handicapped parking spaces. We only encountered one staff member who manned the front desk late at night. He was courteous and friendly and helped us find a parking spot when I told him the lot was full. Their were several fast-food places open late at night within walking distance to the hotel which was convenient. Wifi worked and was free. It would be nice if the hotel offered complimentary breakfast as well. Needless to say, I will be staying here again the next time I visit Disneyland.

Room Tip: We booked the suite it had a separate sitting area, very roomy and spacious.

We are a family of four with two college age daughters. After much research, hubby came across this little gem in the city. Nice spacious room and very clean. Two queen size beds which were quite comfy with the array of cozy pillows they provided. Walk in shower, Aveda product line which was very nice to use. Best of all, walking distance to Disneyland..Even though we had checked out, the hotel was nice enough to allow us to keep our car parked in their underground parking while at Disneyland all day/night. Highly recommended:)

Room Tip: Elevators a bit slow

This weekend (July 2014), my wife and I stayed at the Hotel Indigo in
Anaheim, CA for just one night. This is our second stay at this hotel in the last month. We discovered it after we stayed at the Hotel Indigo in Santa Barbara. We like this hotel for several reasons.

First is location, it is walking distance to the entrance of Disneyland and DCA (about 2 blockes). There are also several restaurants (fast food to fine steakhouses) all within walking distance (read on the same block) as well as some 7-11s and other convenience stores. CVS is building a store ½ block away which should open sometime later this year (there’s a reason for this comment).

Second is that the staff has been very good in several areas. From taking our calls, to greeting us, to check out, everyone has been very friendly, polite, and fun to be with. Anything we have asked for has been met with graciousness and they have exceeded our expectations.

Third is that we like the ambiance of the hotel. While it is a higher end budget or economy hotel, they have made it very comfortable for travelers. My wife particularly enjoys the showers as they are very large for a typical hotel and she really likes the tile they used. The bathrooms are a very good size with raised washbowls (another nice feature for us). The beds were very comfortable and the A/C was almost too good. The hotel’s construction can be a little noisy but nothing that bothered us.

Now for the caveat, which is not uncommon and we don’t hold it against the hotel (or why else would have come back). The hotel is pet friendly, good for a number of travelers but not so good for some of us with certain allergies. The first night we stayed here on our previous visit, we had such a bad skin reaction that by 6:00 AM, I was calling for a cab to take me to a 24 hours drug store (now you can appreciate my previous comment about a new CVS store in the area) to get some prescription medications. After explaining the problem to the staff, they had housecleaning replace the sheets and the problem was fixed. On this trip, we called the hotel in advanced to alert them to our late arrival but also to remind them of our prior problem. They said they would take care of it and they did, we had a very comfortable night’s sleep.

While the allergic reaction problem could happen at any “Pet Friendly” hotel, we were impressed by the hotel’s staff in taking care of us. While one could argue about why they don’t this for all guests, the fact that the staff was responsive to us is why we like it. Also we know we can call ahead of time and they’ll make sure that is taken care of.

While my wife and I have stayed at many of the hotels in the area over the years, from economy to the higher end ballroom hotels, this is our current favorite for pleasure at the price.

We picked this hotel based on it's review on a few travel sites and we were not disappointed. The main entrance is kept up very well and the staff is accommodating and gracious. They rooms were very impressive, clean, and comfortable. It's a nice distance from the park, and though they offer no shuttle, a taxi from the park to the hotel for tired feet at the end of the day is only about 10$.
I personally had to cut my trip short because of a family emergency, but I will definitely be staying here for my next trip to the magic kingdom.
