4 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

I was a little apprehensive at first, old building, unusual art, modern furniture. I usually stay at chains like Sheraton or Hilton.

I must say after staying there for 4 days, the place grew on me. I found myself with only two complaints. Hot water took a while. Having a room above the magic fountain drove me to hate Michael Jackson "thriller"song.

Over all staff (everyone) was great. Beds and bathrooms clean and comfy. Great security camera system. Kids loved the pool. Easy walking to Disney world. I'd would stay there again and recommend it in the future.

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights for a weekend away. It is located very close to Disneyland, only walking distance. There is also a super shuttle service from LAX to the hotel. I also booked some local tours for Universal Studio and LA city tour. Tour companies such as Starline and VIP could pick you up from the hotel and drop you off here as well.

Hotel is very small but very efficient. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Check in and check out was great. Early check in and late check out are organised by front desk stuff. Hotel is very family friendly, a lot of families are visiting Disneyland staying here. So you will see a lot of kids and some dogs as well.

Room is very comfortable, bathroom is very impressive, bed is great and very comfortable. I love the green colour theme in the room and bathroom.

Free wifi available but seem very slow at least in my room on third floor. There is also a small pool and spa on the ground floor but seem always have kids there!

There are many cafes and restaurants around the hotel, there is also a 7-11 at the corner so you could get some basic if you need.

It was a great stay and will definitely come back if i am in the area.

We stayed at this hotel while visiting Disneyland. We were in a family suite, with two queen beds and a sofa bed. The room was very spacious, with plenty of sleeping space for the four of us. My daughters said the sofa bed was very comfortable, more so than the usual hotel sofa bed. We are IHC Gold Members and got upgraded to a corner room on the 4th floor, from which we were able to view the Disneyland fireworks. We arrived late in the evening, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. One night we had issues with noisy neighbors, and the manager took care of it immediately. We didn't hear them playing their music loudly again for the rest of our stay. We liked the wood floors it the room because it meant we weren't walking all over old, dirty carpet during our stay. The rest of the decor was very contemporary, and the room was very clean. I liked that we could open the windows and get fresh air at night; the hotel is far enough from Harbor Blvd. that there was no street noise to keep us awake. The location of this hotel is a little farther away from the parks than the Good Neighbor hotels, but not much. It took us 15-20 minutes to walk from their to the main Disneyland entrance. That's about how long it takes us to walk from the exit of any Disney World park to our car in the parking lot in Florida. And there are many restaurants within walking distance as well. The fountain show in the front of the hotel was a fun addition to the outside decor.

The bathroom was huge, as well as the shower in it. There was no tub. If that's true of all rooms you should not stay here if you have small children who take need baths. I will echo what other posters said about the lack of hooks in the bathroom. It absolutely needs more towel hooks and/or towel bars. It needs more than the two small hooks there now. Adding a shelf by the vanity would also be helpful. Wall is plentiful in that large room! The shower also needs another shelf or two for toiletries. The sink sits on top of the counter so that cuts down the available space for toiletries, but there is some additional storage under the vanity (although not a lot because our clean towels had to be stored there). The shower took a little time to get to work right, but once we determined where to set it to get the correct temperature it was great. I was also surprised there were no table and chairs, as the room was large enough for it. It did have a desk with a chair and sofa with coffee table. But we would have liked a separate table and chairs. We also appreciated the microwave and in-room safe. The closet was small but workable. The beds were comfy and the pillows were very nice as well. Over-all, the issues with the bathroom were minor and we enjoyed this hotel. I would recommend it to friends and readers of this site.

Room Tip: Our corner room on the 4th floor facing Harbor Blvd. was very quiet and you could see the Disneyland...

We stayed at the Hotel Indigo in Anaheim for the reason that it was the only hotel that only had 4* and 5* on trip advisor and I wondered why. Well now I know. The taxi driver from Long Beach was not familiar with this hotel so you would be advised to have the actual address with you. On arrival we were greeted by very friendly check in offering local information, maps, services, etc etc. He was very amenable and knew the answers to all our questions. We had booked two rooms, a family room and a double queen. We were not able to get them connecting as the family rooms do not connect. This seems a misnoma to me as if you have small children you want the connecting room and not a family room. We had another room across the hall and as our kids are 11,15 18 this was not really a problem. The one way see though elevator was very cool and arrived promptly. The rooms are not near the elevators and so this is great as our room was next to the elevator but you could not hear anything. The kids room was on the pool side of the hotel with a view of the fireworks from Disney, again you would want this in the family rooms! The rooms were very well appointed with hardwood floors, rugs, soft close drawers and doors and wonderful lighting, flat screen tv's, a mini fridge. low entry shower with overhead and hand held, Aveda products in the bathroom and a sofa bed in the family room. The DQ room had a kind of sleeper chair. The bed linens were 1st class and the beds on a total par with the Westin bed. My main complaint was the towels were skimpy in both size and texture, both in the rooms and at the pool. Also I would have liked a microwave and robes in the rooms. We paid about $160 per night per room. The pool was adequate but small and so was the hot tub, The poolside loungers and cabanas were excellent. We did not use the gym but it looked small but well stocked. We did not use the bar or bistro but there were a lot of choices. Overall this was an excellent hotel. They also stored our luggage on check out. There was a safe in each room for free as well. Keurig coffee maker. I would definitely stay here again. About a 10 minute walk to Disney with lots of local shops and restaurants nearby. Bus stop is a 2 minute walk. Excellent housekeeping.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the firework side if you want to put the kids to bed early. Family rooms are comfo...

Stayed here during a holiday to visit Disneyland. The location was great as it was within walking distance both there and back. The free parking added to the value of the price of the stay. The hotel was very clean, and the dancing light show at the entrance was delightful. The staff were extremely accommodating, friendly, sincere and always ready to be at service for any questions or inquiries. The rooms are nicely laid out, and the beds are very comfortable. Would absolutely recommend this hotel!

We went as a family of four to Disneyland and blocked this hotel after reading reviews. As everyone has said before, the staff, the location, the food (breakfast) are all just great. It is a little walk to the theme park but not bad at all and we didn't once take the shuttle. The free parking is great so we could drive out in the afternoon for some outside lunch if we wanted or just went to the next door mall for food at California PIzza Kitchen or PF Changs. the staff actually does help with warming up your food etc and that came real handy with my kids milk or some left overs. On the last day, we asked for a slightly late check out and they accommodated us plus let us keep our car parked there till end of day. We also used their laundry facility as we were heading to the beach after this and didn't want to lug all our dirty laundry (no pun intended).

A special shout out to Khalil and Victor- both were wonderful to work with and welcomed us warmly. would stay again if we were to go back

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a view for fireworks ahead of time if you have little ones that wont last at the...
