“Enjoyed our stay - great value vs on-site resort hotels”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 11, 2013

We were only in Anaheim for 2 days to do Disneyland w/our two boys, ages 2 and 3 1/2 years old so we basically just wanted a place to shower and sleep. We needed a nice hotel at a budget price and this was a great hotel for that! I was able to priceline a room for $66/night, $82.18 after taxes and fees. The published rate was $129/night so I was very happy with our rate. The beds were comfy, the room was clean and spacious, wi-fi is free and a substantial self serve breakfast was included. The staff was very friendly. The only complaint I might offer was that the front desk was not willing to give us 2 beds. Apparently when we won the bid for the room on Priceline, it included a queen bed only & since it was booked thru an outside company, they weren't willing to adjust w/o an addt'l fee. Not a huge deal since our kiddos are so young. The hotel offered a pac n play at no addt'l cost that we used for our youngest son and we just made a bed for the 3 yr old on the oversized chair in the room. I would recommend this hotel for anyone on a budget looking for a nice hotel close to Disney!

Room Tip: We stayed in a middle room on the 4th floor & had no problems w/noise levels, etc.

This hotel was clean, up-to-date, and had all we needed in amenities. The price was low and the room was very nice. We also enjoyed the free breakfast and ample parking. If you are in great shape, and not older, like us, you could likely save the parking price and walk into Disneyland from here.

We stayed only one night and it was a pleasant stay. Located very close to disney parks. Rooms are clean and hotel is nice.

The only problem I had with this hotel is the breakfast area which was split into two levels and food was laid out in one narrow, crammed section. Very congested. They really need to do something about that.

Picking a motel for our stay in the Los Angeles area was like finding a needle in a haystack but The Comfort Inn and Suites was perfect in every way. We paid about $99 per night AND had a room on the Disney side and could see the fireworks. The bed was comfortable and super clean. Fridge, air conditioning, shower all worked well and the breakfast was good with plenty of space to sit down. Staff were pleasant and helpful. We decided on a taxi to Disneyland and the cost with tip was about $12. The front desk made the call for us and we were at the front gates of Disney about 10 minutes later. Great stay!

Comfort Inn was in an excellent location about a 15 minute walk to Disneyland. The rooms were spacious, the queen beds very comfortable and free wifi in the room. Nice free breakfast comprising of cereal, waffles, muffins etc but disappointed there weren't any bagels. The reception staff were very helpful. Lots of diners nearby and also good shopping such as Brea Mall and Outlets at Orange. Went to Huntington Beach for the day which was about 30 minutes away and was a really nice beach to go to. Also drove to Hollywood, parking in the Highland Center. Quite scary when we came out of the center as there were people dressed up as various characters to have a photo with who demanded money when the picture was taken and one guy was quite aggressive when we didn't give him as much as he wanted so be careful. The Starlight tour was excellent and spent quite a while in Beverley Hills where we ate at Nate and Al's diner which I can highly recommend.

Finishing second night at Comfort Inn on Katella. Fantastic! Rooms are great, AC works fine, beds are very comfortable, and breakfast is out of this world (waffle maker and sausage/eggs to name a few). One hint: It is about 1.3 miles walking to Disney, so if you have little ones, suggest taxi, bus, or something else. Once you walk to the park, walk around ALL DAY, the walk can be a little long. Other than that, this is a great hotel in every respect. Highly recommend!

Dear Guest,
I agree take the taxi or better yet the city offers a shuttle service to and from the park. I am glad to hear that you had a great time with us and enjoyed it and we hope to see you soon.
