“New, comfortable, good service.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 2, 2011

CHECKIN – by a young lady who was being trained & was supported by a manager. Great service & recommendations.
ROOMS – one of the newest & nicest Comfort Inns we have stayed in on this trip. Rooms are spacious and the furnishings & bed are lovely. Huge spa.
EXTRAS - breakfast was nice, wifi connection good, able to print out travel details in business centre.
SHUTTLE - $4 all day shuttle to Disneyland runs every 20mins.
FOOD – 5min walk to "Garden" shopping centre - excellent selection of restaurants to suit all budgets.
LOCATION - handy to bus route that connects with Amtrak.

Room Tip: Request quieter carpark side

We stayed here for 4 nights on the first leg of our 2 weeks in USA. Great base for visiting Disney and Anaheim. 15 minute walk to the Disney gates or catch the shuttle to and back for $4 per day each. (just remember the buy the ticket before you get on!).
Loved the complimentary breakfast every morning. Tea, coffee, toast, boiled eggs, cereal, danishes, fresh juice or make your own waffles!. Save you bucket loads if you brought the kids. Ours were at home in Melbourne :o.
Simple, clean and comfortable. Great value if your travelling - especially since you hardly spend any time in the room anyway.
Would definitely stay here again.

We have been to Disneyland four times prior to this trip. Our daughter has been there since she was six and is now 14. We've always thought it was easiest/most convenient to be right across the street from the resort. Prices for the "maingate" hotels we've previously stayed at were way too high for the quality of the hotels. (The hotels are getting runned down and the quality is going down.) Our park hoppers from AAA included free parking at the park. We decided, therefore, to look for hotels in the area, but no longer needed one in "walking distance." I found the price for this Comfort Inn to be way too good to pass up; and, the photos on the web looked great. WE LOVED IT!!!! The hotel was extremely clean; we felt so welcomed with the wonderful service from the front desk the moment we walked in (after 10 p.m.); and the convenience of the work out room was great, too! The breakfast in the morning was just great - everything was fresh, tasted great, and the woman handling the breakfast buffet was just AWESOME! No tip jar, but she definitely deserved one and I gave her a tip every morning she was wonderful! The drive to Disneyland (once we figured it out) was easy and it was a shorter walk from the parking lot to the shuttle (which dropped you off right at downtown Disney/close to the entrance) than the walk from the park to any hotel. One TINY down side is the lack of washers/dryers. We would never make it to the laundromat (even though it was right next door) when it was open; next time, I'll be sure to get up earlier to do the laundry before going to the park. Then again . . . I don't want to miss breakfast! :) The chocolate donuts are AMAZING!

I am so glad to here that your stay was wonderful. Thank you so much for your comments and as many guest know we are very close to disneyland and the angle stadium, the honda center and the convention center.

we do our best to make each and every guest fill as close to being at home as possible.
the shuttle is very convenient for those who don't want to drive or walk. it picks you up behind us and drops you in front of Disneyland.

WE have a laundry service that any guest can use all you need to do is drop it off early morning and you have it back by 6 and the prices are reasonable.

thank you again and we look forward to seeing you soon.

This is a really nice, new, clean and quite hotel with extremely friendly and attentive staff. The only problem I have with giving it a rave review is a selfish one... I don't want it to get so popular that I wont get a room there when I go to Idaho Falls.
There is a great little Mexican joint across the parking lot with fantastic food or else if you dont feel like a heavy meal the hotel usually has some complimentary soup available.
They have a nice breakfast in the morning

The hotel is on the corner of two very busy streets. You can easily hear the traffic noise in your room. The Disneyland shuttle which stops on the road alongside the hotel makes a loud, horrible screeching noise every time it lowers one side to let riders on. The shuttle runs until midnight some nights. If you like things quiet, do NOT choose this hotel!

The information the hotel staff gives regarding the shuttle to Disneyland is incorrect. The shuttle does NOT stop right outside the hotel. You have to walk down a busy street to wait for the shuttle. You have to stand next to the busy street while you wait for the shuttle. There is no place to sit. It would not be safe for parents with young children.

The shuttle does NOT run every 20 minutes as stated. We waited up to 45 minutes. If the shuttle is full, it will not pick you up. The shuttle gets VERY crowded with the driver insisting that children sit on parents' laps and folks have to stand in the aisle squashed like sardines.

The hotel did not have the discounted multi day passes to ride the shuttle the entire 4 nights we were there.

Also, this shuttle stops at stop #12, which is the farest walk to get into Disneyland.

In addition, the maintenance room was located across from our room with the maintenance man letting the door slam behind him all hours of the day, starting at 8:00 in the morning and continuing past 10:00 pm. When I called the front desk to complain, at 10:07 at night, I was assured that he would shut the door quietly from then on. At 8:00 am the next morning, we were woken to his door slamming again. I called the front desk, the staff even heard the door slamming over the phone. She said that she was unable to do anything until the manager came in sometime later that morning.

When I talked to the manager, she was rude and unsympathetic claiming that no one else had complained about the door slamming even though the front desk staff told her she heard the door slamming too over the phone. All I wanted was for the maintenance man to not let the door slam behind him. The manager treated this request as being ridiculous. She told me that she only wanted "happy guests" at her hotel and that we could move to another hotel. When I asked for a phone number for her supervisor, she gave me a phone number that was incorrect.

Also, on first look, the room appeared to be nice and clean, but we discovered dead bugs on the window sill, in the closet, and in the bathroom. It was disgusting!!!
The towels had stains on them. There was hair on the bathroom ceiling. There was a pubic hair in the bathtub and another one on the shower liner. It was gross.

The continental breakfast was okay. It is a nice large seating area, but be aware that there is a TV on showing the news. Our young child saw images of bloody, dead bodies of the Egyptt revolt. Breakfast runs from 6:30-9:30. We often arrived around 7:30 and 3 out of the 4 days, they had already run out of donuts, pastries, and bananas. There are waffle makers available, but be warned that they were both dirty, with one having lots of chips in its no stick coating. The breakfast area was often dirty with spilled food/drinks. We had to clean our own table every morning before sitting down to eat.

The internet is so slow that it is useless.

The hot tub was broken the entire time we were there. We were told every day that it would be fixed that night. Twice the front desk told us it was fixed, but when we walked down there, we discovered it was not. The folks in the room next to us who had arrived several days before us said the front desk had said the same thing to them.

We travel to Disneyland at least once a year. This is by far the WORST hotel we have ever stayed at in Anaheim. It is loud, dirty, and the management is rude, dishonest, and unhelpful.

We deal with hundred's of guest each week and we do our best serve each and every one of them to the best of our ability. We try to make sure each and everyone of their needs it meant in a resonable manner.

The shuttle is controlled by the city of Anaheim and it's a service that they offer to our guest as well as guest from other hotels. they do their best to make sure the driver is there every 20 mins but as you know when it gets busy then that can delay them. We offer passes on a 3 day bases or a 5 days bases which again is given to us by the city.

We take time an care to clean each and everyroom to the best possible ability we have and we make sure breakfast has a variety of things and is enjoyable for all our guests.

the internet may slow down depending upon who many are using it at once but again no one else had told us anything about that.

We maintane our pool and spa on a daily bases to ensure our guests can use it. we take all responses seriously and look into them in a timely manner.

thanks for your comments and we look forward to serving you in the future.

Stayed here for 2 nights after arriving into Los Angeles before heading to Nevada desert. Hotel is in a safe location close to a shopping mall with good choice of restaurants (within walking distance). Hotel is located next to a freeway ramp so easy to find and navigate to other parts of LA. On arrival at hotel, staff were pleasant and check-in only less than 10 minutes for our 4 rooms. Rooms were clean and quite spacious, everything in working order. Beds were comfy and bedding smelt clean and fresh. Shower worked perfectly with plenty hot water at peak time. Our room located on 4th floor overlooking freeway and was not noisy at all but others in our group were on 1st floor and said traffic got noiser at peak morning rush hour but not too bad. Buffet breakfast was convenient and limited to danish pastries, fruit, cereals, muffins and you could make your own waffles with syrup etc as well as make toast. choice of Coffee/tea and fruit juice. Weekend breakfast was busy with families getting ready to visit Disneyland and a lot of the tables were busy but not a huge problem and the next day was much quieter. Swimming pool and hot tub both looked clean and there was even people using the hot tub on 29th December! Ample free parking too. All in all cannot complain as had a great stay here and got a great price via Expedia. Would recommend to anyone visiting LA especially for Disneyland which was 5 mins away.

I chose this hotel based on previous reviews and price and I was not disappointed. The rooms and other areas of the hotel were spotless and well prepared, down to the fanned washcloths. We did not use the shuttle to Disneyland but drove and parked for $15. It would have been a very short drive but I misunderstood the directions so we took the scenic route. The breakfast was good and there's plenty of seating. We didn't use the pool or spa. There was a nice work-out room but I didn't use that either. All in all, a good stay and I would definitely stay there again.
