“You get what you pay for”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 3, 2013 via mobile

We got a good deal through a third party. Room rate was $109 for New Year's Day. Hotel was 2 minute walk from Disney Land and near many food establishments. Rooms were old and relatively clean. Lighting was a bit dim for my taste. Small bathroom, but sink right outside. Had refrigerator and old rusting microwave. Bad news? If you are on second floor, you are hauling your suitcases up the stairs. No elevator. Also the shades are plantation shutters that let the sun in at the "crack of dawn". Don't forget the occasional roll of a suitcase right by your room, or housekeeping loudly rolling their cart by your room early in the morning. Oh, and for some reason housekeeping knocked on our door at 930AM just to say "sorry"!!? All in all this is a convenience, inexpensive motel disguised as an "inn". Clever naming! For the money, the stay was OK but would not repeat.

A very clean and comfortable room with every thing we needed to make our stay a great experience. Disneyland is a short walk across the street so the room was convenient for taking rest breaks and eating meals through out the day as needed. As always the staff was very accommodating and ready to help with any special needs. We recommend this hotel to all our friends & family.

Room Tip: When making your reservation make sure to let them know what your needs are.

It is a place that besides an excellent location facing the Disney parks, is an excellent choice for clean, comfortable and a very nice staff. It does not take more than that to make this place a place to come back in my next vacation.

Room Tip: If you bring children with stroller requests a first floor room, because they have no elevator.

The staff is rude! The beds are uncomfortable and the shower was dirty when we arrived. Parking is ridiculous and the breakfast is a joke. We paid over $140 a night for 4 nights. We will NEVER stay here again. Please consider another place before you book here!

We had a great time at this hotel. The proximity to Disneyland is hard to beat...right across the street! Our room was clean, well organized and spacious. The pool was heated and big enough to play in, but not too big to worry parents with small children. There was also a hot tub/jacuzzi which was great. The staff was friendly and helpful. We will go here again and again!

Room Tip: If you have children, request the one with a bunk bed. It was adorable and fun for the kids to climb...

The Del Sol Inn took care of our basic needs and saved us money. I took myself and my two daughters to Disney as a xmas surprise/vacation for 6 nights. It was great! If ur on a budget and are not expecting a big lobby, hot breakfast, elevator, and all the fancies ull like this hotel. It was clean, a lil dingy in bathrooms from wear but clean. Towels are thin but soak up well. Beds are comfortable, one was a lil more comfortable than the other. Liked the shutters. U can open window slightly on each side. We purchased breakfast and lunch items from food for less by taking a cab. The fridge and micro helped me be able to bring extra money home for christmas. Saved lots of money! One morning as a treat I took my daughters to Mimis Cafe. Had so much food left over. The hotel being so close to the park, made it not inconvenient at all to stop in our room and refrigerate our left overs to eat the next morning. Mimi's is very good btw. The pool was heated and had pretty colored lights at night. Our first room didn't have air. Maintenance came right up and it cldnt be fixed so we were quickly put into another room. We did not drive but shuttles are convenient to the hotel. I always check for bugs, all kinds. Did NOT find any, infact I moved both head boards, there was no critters. I accidentally knocked one of them completely off and management gave me no problems when I reported that it needed to be put back in place. TV reception was good. Wifi a bit slow, but that is typical for the area. One night, a Friday, my daughters took a shower, the first shower was warm but hot water went out for my second daughter. Think hotel was pretty full that night. Just tiny, minor things were not perfect. I am a bit of a clean freak so trust my review when I say this is a clean place. I WOULD stay again.

This place is literally just across the road from the Disneyland entry! Perfect location! The room we stayed in was clean and comfortable (not the best of colours - but who cares?). The breakfast was so so, but fine for a quick bowl of cereal! We'd stay here again :)
