Stayed at the Best Western Plus as a base for a holiday for Disney, universal and southern California. Very close to Disney without being affected by the disruption and congestion. The interstate 5 to LA and Hollywood is very slow at rush hour but if you intend to spend much of your stay at Disney this is the place to stay. Others are closer but always looked busy

We recently stayed here February 24-26, 2012 for a family trip to Disneyland. The front desk was nice at checkin but didn't seem to know what they were talking about. I booked the room at a 21 day advanced pay and it wa supposed to bill me immediately, my email confirmation even stated this and said $0 due at checkin. The front desk said they book at the advanced pay rate but don't actually take the payment until check out. If this is the case, they need to change the website and email confirmation. The room was decent. You can tell it is old. The bathroom window was broken and they had a tiny clip to keep it closed. Upon arival the window was open. It was frustrating trying to get it back on and not very safe because I had to balance on the sides of the bathtub to see where it goes on. The AC unit was loud so we kept it off. The free wifi was spoty at best and you had to enter the password everytime you got back on, it would never remember your devices. The bed was the best part, so firm and comfy! We had a king bed and the pillows were large, but my family had 2 doubles and they had tiny square pillows. We were happy with the room until bed time. After a long day at Disneyland we got back to our room at 12:30am and the people upstairs were running around, back and forth across the floor until 2 am! We finally called the front desk and they said we should move rooms. We had adjoining rooms with family members and 2 small children. It would be inconvenient to move all of us at 2 am. They have some poor excuse saying the AC unit in the room above us was being worked on. Ok that's fine, but that does not make it ok for the kids to be running back and forth. They wouldn't do anything so we tried to deal with the noise and get some sleep. You can hear every little noise in this hotel. You can hear the people next to you and above you and everything outside. Don't stay here if you are a light sleeper. You will not be happy.

Easy to find on Katella Avenue, we able to get a spotless room with comfy beds, big fluffy pillows and easy access to a heated pool and jacuzzi. A Denny's is next door so food was always available (24 hrs).
The staff is really friendly, they have tickets for the parks available .A shuttle picked us up at the front door for $ 3 bucks and we were dropped off at the front door of Disneyland.
pick this one.

Room Tip: connecting rooms are available, great for families.

Its my third time at this hotel and each time I am pleased with its value, cleanliness, friendly staff and proximaty to Disneyland. It's about a good 15 minute walk to the main gate. Walk down Katella to the shuttle drop its quicker than going through Downtown Disney. The shuttle that stops infront of the hotel charges $4.00 a person. We took a cab back (which we picked up at the Grand Californian, easy to do if California Adventure is your evening park) and it cost less than $10.00
If you go to Color of Disney show in California Adventure, there is an easy access to the Grand Californian, right opposite the Grizzly River Run or close to it is a park enterance, its kind of hidden but it takes your right to the Grand Californian. So when your feet hurt and its late at night ...the quickest way out is through the Grand Californian, to a taxi and then home....

We flew in on Wednesday, and left on Sunday, and only had to share the pool a couple of times. Rooms were cleaned very well, every day. We ate at Denny's a lot, but wouldn't recommend the pizza and taco joints nearby. 3 days at the parks, and medieval times, and we were ready to go home. Definately go to the parks during the week, because on the weekend the line ups don't make the rides worth it. Our only real beef with the hotel was that the bathroom was small, and needed an update. We would consider staying here again.

Great location for Disney, only a 15 minute walk to downtown Disney and many restaurants. The rooms we're very clean and updated. My only complaint was to out of date A/C widow units. They are VERY loud, and trash pick up for Denny's next door was around 6am!

Just stayed at this hotel for the first time. We chose it for its relative location to Disneyland as we were running in the TInkerbell Half Marathon. It was 2 minute walk to both the beginning and end of the marathon which was wonderful. It was also walking distance to a slew of nice restaurants (PF Chang's, Calif. Pizza Kitchen, etc.) The room was well appointed with granite counters and newer bedding. Didn't quite understand what the resort fee charge was for. However, we were very pleased in general and would stay here again.
