“Great for business and family”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 21, 2013

I book the Hilton Anaheim when I can in Anaheim due to great amenities, convenience to good restaurants. The staff if great and I like having Disney so close.. even if I'm not able to go! It's definitely a convention hotel as well. But serves multiple purposes well.

Room Tip: you will need to pay a hefty daily fee for parking - unavoidable.

Dear Paiger10, Thank you for your kind words on TripAdvisor. We especially appreciate the compliments you’ve given to our staff. They truly are the difference makers at our hotel. As you mentioned we are very conveniently located to Disneyland and the Anaheim Convention Center but there are several other attractions in the area and many more just a short drive away. For work or for pleasure the Hilton Anaheim is the place to stay! Come back again and enjoy all of our fabulous amenities. We can’t wait to see you again!

Kind Regards,
Jennifer Sacks

This is a very nice hotel, and conveniently located near Disneyland and the Anaheim Convention Center. The room was very comfortable and quiet. Public spaces are clean and well maintained. Staff are courteous and efficient.

Now for the downside: Elevators are slow. Parking is expensive. Food is ridiculously expensive.

Hint: For breakfast, compare price and selection at nearby hotels.

Dear Bruce H, Thank you for sharing your thoughts on TripAdvisor. While our buffet breakfast at the MIX Restaurant may not be the cheapest in town, it is one of the best. We serve quality meats, have an omelet station, and provide several other delicious offerings that vary by the day. If you’re looking for an inexpensive grab and go breakfast you can stop by our food court or the Starbucks. There are several options available there. We thank you for returning to our hotel time after time and we are so glad to hear that you always receive pleasant service and that you find our spaces to be clean and comfortable. If you haven’t already, we recommend that you sign up for HHonors, our loyalty rewards program. Earn enough points and you could stay with us for free! Until next time, from all of us here at the Hilton Anaheim, we wish you happy travels!

Kind Regards,
Jennifer Sacks

We stayed here 4 nights because our friend insisted because of it's close proximity to Disneyland. The room was a huge double queen studio, which was nice. I'm a Marriott fan myself, but the Hilton had stay 3 nights get the 4th free, so it was worth the free night.

The hotel is old. The carpeting is pretty tired in the hallways, the rooms are pretty low budget and haven't been updated in quite awhile. The mattresses seem old as well, I didn't really get a great night sleep.

Maid service is poor, they showed up at one night at 8:00pm to do our room. Really? Yeah, clean our room while our kids sit quietly in the corner. Ha.

There was no sound proofing either, we heard the couple next door 'knocking boots' at around 12:40am. That was pleasant. I would have pounded on the door and told them to shut up if my kids weren't in our room.

The staff is pretty polite and helpful, can't really say anything bad about the service.

I think average sums it up. If they had another deal like a free night, I might stay again, but I wouldn't pay full price. I prefer Marriott.

All in all, just okay.

Dear Miguel S, Thank you for stopping by our TripAdvisor page and your review. We are very sorry about the noise disturbance from your neighbors during your stay. Instances like that are rarely reported but we do hope that their noise didn't wake your children. We do have a security team on staff 24 hours per day that would handle such a situation for you. You will be glad to know that beginning this coming year 2014, the hotel will be undergoing renovations of the guestrooms and guestroom floors. We will be getting new hallway carpeting and wall treatments as well as upgrading guestroom amenities such as adding in-room mini fridge. Please come back and visit us soon.

Kind Regards,
Jennifer Sacks

We stayed on the 12th floor with Disney views. Very nice hotel, we stayed here purely to visit Disney? I can't really fault anything with the hotel. If anything it's a bit of a walk to the Disney parks and outside restaurants.

Dear John L, Thank you so much for your kind review of the hotel! We are glad you enjoyed your Disney View room. These type of rooms are very popular as you can see the nightly fireworks show from the comfort of the hotel. The City Of Anaheim does offer the ART (Anaheim Resort Transit) shuttle as an alternative to walking to the Disney Parks and surrounding attractions. Itpicks up right in front of the hotel. At a low rate of $5/day for adults and $2/day for kids it really is a great option especially after a long, but fun day exploring Southern California! We hope this information has been helpful for your next visit to Disney. Please come back and visit the hotel soon, we look forward to hosting you.

Kind Regards,
Jennifer Sacks

We were on the 14th Floor. Great view of Disney and the pool and such below us.
Valet and Bellhop were excellent
Beds comfortable
Bath with modern fixtures
And if you want or need to eat out, there is a CO CO's and a little place called Tiffany's to the south. Out through the main doors, right through the convention center and left a the main road. Walking distance and very good!
The only complaint after staying at the Hilton and the Marriott is that they both have resorted to mostly pay tv and it 'sucks'. I could never find a channel to watch that wasn't pay to view.
Ambiance was terrific though and everyone was very nice to us. Highly recommended

A clean hotel with nice rooms and a delicious restaurant (MIX).

I have travelled to many hotels including a number of luxury hotels and have never been asked to pay for the use of the hotel gym! $14 per day to use the facilities is ridiculous.

In addition, $12.95 per device per day for WiFi? I realize that WiFi is complimentary in the lobby however, I do not think it's right to charge that much for WiFi. If the charge is necessary then fine, but at least make it just per room and not per device as well- it seems like a huge money grab.

The Sheraton down to the street seemed much more reasonable- free access to gym and only $9.95 per room for WiFi...
