“Does the Job!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 26, 2013

So you are going to stay the whole day at Disneyland and don't want to spend an arm and a leg (and parking/food/wifi) at your hotel. This is definitely the place for you. Parking/Food/Wifi were all included, and that is much better than the rest of the area. And although the place isn't the fanciest, it definitely does the job. If you are looking for fancy, this is not for you. If you are looking for somewhere to sleep comfortably after a long day at Disneyland without spending a lot of money, this is for you. Breakfast was OK. Also gets the job done. You can take the shuttle for 5 bucks to Disneyland and it is pretty frequent.

Room Tip: As far from the road as possible. Gets kinda loud the closer to the road you get.

Great place to stay. Great rooms, great beds. We drive everywhere, so we loved how convenient it is to Disneyland and other attractions. Housekeeping was very nice and even very understanding about working around our schedule when we were stuck with sick kids.
Definitely will use them again.

Although this hotel is located near Disneyland, it's too far to walk. ART pick up right outside of the hotel. LOVED the fact that the hotel offers a full breakfast & a Kuerig coffee maker in the room. I also loved that my kids had their own room with a TV and A/C unit. The beds were VERY comfortable and heated pool was nice. Kids watched Tangled as they ate & got their face painted after. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone going to Disneyland! Can't wait to go back next year.

Room Tip: I always look for a room with a microwave & fridge. I also request that my room not be near the...

Great place to stay, clean rooms and great breakfast. We stay in the suite with bunk beds, we loved the space and the kids loved the beds. It was a little farther from the park than we thought, but transit was very convenient (and better than parking).

I was amazed with the size of our room. We had the Jr Suite and it was perfect for six of us. The bathrooms were very clean. Housekeeping did not leave soap or shampoo the first day but I called the front desk and it was taken care of right away. Every day after that (we stayed for five days) we had extra soap and shampoo. Room was very clean and tidy each night that we returned to it. Breakfast was good although a bit crowded. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We will stay here again when we return to Disneyland.

Room Tip: Upstairs on the back side was perfect. Very quiet.

We stayed for 3 nights at the Stanford and were very happy with the room. It was roomy, clean, shower had very good pressure and water got hot very quickly. The free breakfast was well stocked and had a lot to choose from (cold cereal, eggs, sausage, toast, donuts and even a self-serve waffle bar!) and even though the dining room was small, everyone was able to serve themselves quickly and easily. The coffee and oj certainly helped perk us up before disneyland. The only complaint was that the coffee maker (kuerig) in our room did not include the k-cups to make coffee. You had to purchase them in the lobby. But since they do offer free coffee in the lobby and at breakfast, it wasn't that big of a deal for us. Shuttle to Disneyland was just 2 small motels away (not even 1 block) and people at the front desk were helpful and very nice. We have already recommended the Stanford to our friends who are planning a trip next year.

Room Tip: If possible, choose a room back from the street, as Harbor Blvd. is very busy and could be loud. We...

Rooms were clean and very tidy. We had a room with two queen beds, and a separate room with two bunk beds. Beds were comfortable and the kids liked their separate room. Bus stop for the park was close by. The breakfast is well stocked and the staff does a good job of keeping the tables clean and the food presentable.

Room Tip: If possible, get a room that faces the parking lot. The backside rooms face an apartment complex tha...
