“Great experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 5, 2013

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Stanford Inn and Suites. The staff bent over backwards to make sure we were comortable. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet. Being able to eat a good breakfast quickly before heading out to Disneyland was such a bonus, as was being able to catch the shuttle right next door. I will be staying here again when I visit Anaheim again.

Room Tip: No road noise at all if you ask for a room near the back. Absolutely no hint of smoke in our room.

My friend and I stayed here for 6 nights in mid-September. The hotel was very clean and nice looking. The breakfast nook was roomy, I enjoyed the option of being able to eat outdoors as the weather was beautiful. The breakfast itself was pretty good. Waffles, cereal options, eggs, sausage patties, we never left hungry.

We ended up having a small problem with our room mid-trip and had to move. The staff were very accommodating, making the move as easy as possible. They also checked in on us the next day to make sure we were well taken care of and the switch had been smooth.

The hotel was a little further south of the park then we wanted to walk (especially after a long day of doing nothing but walking), but there was an ART stop right outside the hotel so this wasn't a problem. It only took us about 10 minutes on the ART to reach Disneyland, which is about how long it would have taken us to walk anyway.

Overall, I would recommend the Stanford Inn & Suites! Nice clean rooms, good staff, and a good location.

Pros: Room was clean and quiet. Great value! It was nice to grab something to eat before going to Disneyland.

Cons: Bathtub didn't drain well. Was not offered a 3 day ART transportation pass until the last day (didn't know that was an option). Didn't matter because they ran out of ART passes anyway.

Overall, a nice place to stay after a long day in the park for the value

Room Tip: Request a room at the back of hotel. It is very quiet.

Dear Zoolyfe,

Thank you for staying with us and taking the time to share your experience. We apologize our front desk staff failed to offer 3 day ART passes on your check-in. We will review our front desk procedures to make sure we properly explain all options on Disneyland tickets and ART passes on your check-in. We are still in the process of remodeling all of our rooms. We will highly appreciate if you could provide us with another opportunity to be of service in the near future. Thank you again for your business.

My family and I stayed here during the end of September for 5 nights. With the free parking and continental breakfast offered, we were able to save some money. We also got a great deal on the two bath family suite. The outside looks outdated, but I think they have done a great job of updating their rooms compared to the older pictures I've seen on here from past reviewers while under the old management. We were on the second level in the back which was fairly quiet. We had no issues during our stay. I would definitely come back the next time we are in Anaheim.

Stayed here for 2 nights on August 30 and 31st. I gotta say, the room is very clean and my boyfriend and I were satisfied with the results of this hotel overall. This is our first time renting a hotel together and it was a great first experience. Disneyland is a couple blocks away but there is a bus right across the street that takes you to the resort. I got a couple bug bites here and there but... Eh. The cost per night was reasonable for the results. There was complimentary breakfast as well. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

We just returned from a 4 night stay at the Stanford. We had a kid's suite and it was perfect! Our boys were so excited for the "Mickey" beds and they LOVED that they each had their own light! :) We were on the back side of the hotel and rarely heard anyone else. (It's possible that we just didn't have anyone next to or above us, but not likely). Breakfast was great. We loved the waffles and sausage. Yes, at times it was crowded and you had to wait to use the waffles irons, but hey, it's just good practice for Disneyland. :) The pool and hot tub were wonderful after the long day at the park! We came home early in the afternoon one day because our youngest was sick and the maid was so sweet when she came by. She gave our other boy a little game to play with quietly so his brother could sleep.
I know a few other reviews have mentioned the carpets making their socks black, but our socks weren't any dirtier than normal. The water pressure in the shower was great. The beds were comfortable. AC worked perfect. All in all, we were VERY happy with our stay here and would recommend it!

I stayed here for three nights. The first night was terrible due to the room proximity to the road. The next day I asked to be assigned a new room. The front desk personnel were Friendly and ready to help. The rooms that I stayed in were clean and comfortable. The rate at the time was also reasonable. WiFi was not that good. Breakfast area extended to the outside of the building and crowded.

Dear Epoch2011,

Thank you for staying with us and taking the time to share your experience. We appreciate your valuable review very much. This year, we have installed a new wifi system and it seems to have improved the overall wifi performance, but we will look into the issue again. As to the breakfast room, we will also examine the seating arrangement, etc. to see if there's a better to service our guests.

Thank you for your stay and we would be honored if you could visit us again on your next trip to Anaheim.
