Our family of four (girls ages 5 & 7) drove from Oregon and stayed here the last week of August 2013 for six nights for a Disneyland trip. This was a perfect location and an easy walk for all of us, right across the street from the main entrance of both parks. There were only about two hotels that were closer. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated. The mattresses were on the soft side and very comfortable. (This is a huge issue for me, since I have a bad back.) The air conditioner felt so good on those 90-100 degree, humid days! The reasons we chose this hotel were location, microwave and refrigerator in room, and breakfast included. (The safe in room and rooftop pool were nice too.) Our only complaint was that the continental breakfast consisted of vouchers for the Pizza Press next door. We were expecting a continental breakfast on site with more options based on past reviews. (It must have been changed since those reviews were written.) This was okay, but it was the same hot breakfast every morning with no fresh fruit available and choice of only 4 oz. of milk, juice or coffee. When I asked for more milk for my girls, though, they gave it to us at no charge. The room was usually cleaned in the afternoon, after we came back for a swim after lunch. This was fine with us, though, since we didn't return again to our room until night time. We did have to ask for more towels. Loved being able to see the fireworks show while eating a snack at the Pizza Press the first night we arrived! We would stay here again!
