“Clean and Close to The Magic Kingdom”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 7, 2012 via mobile

Upon arrival a fully completed check-in packet was provided along with a golf cart escort to our site. Pad was level and in good condition. Hook-ups were clean and well vented. 50amp service was steady. We had a site closer to the back entrance which afforded a great view of the fireworks but was a little bit noisier than tucked in the park. Bathrooms and showers were very clean.

I have stayed here several times for a total of about one month. It is a beautifully kept up property, with a super-friendly staff. Although it is large, it avoids the urban parking lot look by having nice patches of grass between virtually every pad. The pool and hot tub are kept perfectly according to the outside temperature. The washrooms are clean and well kept-up, The location is outstanding - about a half-mile walk to Disneyland. The fireworks from DIsneyland are perfectly viewed from anywhere in the RV park, so even if your feet give out before your excitement does, you can come "home" and enjoy them from the hot tub. A number of people come and spend the whole winter here. It is a bit pricier than some resorts, but for its location, Anaheim Village is a good value. I would come back here anytime I come to the LA area.

Room Tip: Book early around school holiday times if you can. It does fill up.

The park is extremely clean and well kept. Nice pool and arcade. I wouldnt really say it is within "walking distance" of Disney as you have to cross a highway to walk there. I did this the first day then found out that you can catch the ART bus right across the street which takes you right to disneys main gate and was very inexpensive. I will definitely stay here again when returning to Anaheim and camping out.

This is a fabulous park. It was very thoughtfully laid out and is beautifully maintained. Staff is very helpful. We saw some other parks in the area but this was the nicest. We walked to and from Disney each day with no concerns for our safety even with very young children. The facilities are very generous with lots of clean showers. We found the other guests to be very friendly. Alternate days to Disney were relaxing with lots of open space to ride bikes or play in the pool. We had some problems with WiFi but staff was quick to come to our RV to assist us. Renovations are still happening but are thoughtfully planned to not inconvenience guests. Rates are very reasonable until you add on the 17% tax but staff was always upfront about costs. I would recommend this park to anybody headed to Anaheim with an RV.

Room Tip: Sites on west side are noisier but have a better view of the fireworks.

We've stayed in a few RV parks near Disnelyand but this is by far the nicest.

Access is very easy from I-5 but don't make the same mistake we made which was to exit I-5 and turn right on West Ball Road as you can't turn in to the park without having to make a U-turn. Continue on for a block and then turn right, then right again to come back up West Ball Road.

The staff were very helpful when we arrived late and escorted us to our site. We had the premium pull-through and had coaches either side so it was somewhat cosy but not to the point where it was an issue, even with four kids. If you are towing a trailer you can easily fit in one of those sites as they're about 65ft long.

Across the street from the park is one of those places that sells cheap Disneyland tickets but you have to arrange it in advance. The walk to Disneyland is 10-15 minutes and there is also a shuttle service.

The park has a pool that the kids were happy to find was heated and there is also a games room and a small playground for young kids. They have wifi service but it was not very reliable from our site (508).

They have an RV self-wash station on site and a number of services from independent contractors. We had the coach washed by The Wash Crew (http://www.thewashcrew.com/autoandrv.html) who did a fantastic job.

We'll definitely be back

Definitely the best RV park in the Disneyland area as we checked them all out while we were there. I arrived at night without reservations and there was a guy there on a golf cart that could not have been more helpful. He escorted us to the site and helped us back the trailer in! I own a 28' travel trailer and this is only the second RV park I have been to and the first one was a pull-thru.

Would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Disneyland

4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 15, 2011

Our family of four recently stayed at this RV park June 11-14, 2011. After much debate whether to stay in a hotel vs. travel trailer, we decided on the travel trailer to save money and another plus is that it is a pet friendly park being we have 2 dogs. The park was very clean and the employees were very nice. They offered a private shuttle that runs 4 to 5 times daily but it was more convenient to drive since we had free parking when purchasing our dl tickets from AAA. We stayed in one of the back-in deluxe spots which had a picnic table and grass area. They also have a nice pool and spa. The RV park was quiet except for the road noise but one would expect that anywhere they stay in the dl area. Showers and bathrooms were clean and in good condition. There is also an onsite laundry facility. Over all, we enjoyed our stay, would recommend this RV park, and would stay here again.
TIPS: no cable so take a DVD player, pick up a brochure from the office (there is a list of restaurants that deliver).
