“A must do at Disneyland!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 8, 2013

Eating dinner inside the Pirates of the Caribbean is just something everyone should experience ay least once. Make your reservations early - ans still be prepared to wait....it's really popular. Food is good but a bit overpriced. Service is very good - but it's because they are expected to turn and burn those tables - get as many people in and out as possible. Still worth the experience.

“Yummmmm”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 7, 2013

Go for lunch and Split the Monte Cristo - plenty of food for two adults and saves money. Fun dining experience in Disneyland, great Disney service and fun to say you had lunch at Pirate's of the Caribbean !

“Great food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 6, 2013

We decided to check out this restaurant for the experience of having dinner inside of the ride. But I was pleasantly surprised that the food was actually great. We had 2 different ditches and both were just excellent. I can not say anything negative about the dishes. The chef definitely knows what he is doing. The service was ok, nothing special, but good. The restaurant is a little pricey, but definitely recommend.

“A nice, dark, indoor restaurant with a swampy feel....”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 5, 2013

Located indoors next to the Pirates of the Caribbean ride, this restaurant gives the illusion of being next to a swamp... It is dark and for the most part, quiet.
Service is very good and reservations are advised.
We started with the Blue Bayou House Salad, very good and nicely balanced with the dressing.
We had the Broiled Filet Mignon With Blue Bayou Au Gratin Potatoes, Seasonal Vegetables and Béarnaise Sauce .... very tender and tasty, but the chef had a tendency to overcook the steaks... I asked for Extra Rare, it came out medium rare. If you are ordering beef, be sure that the waiter knows exactly how you want your order to be cooked.
A sourdough Dinner Roll and Sweet Potato Biscuit was included with the meal.
The coffee was good, not great..
Overall, the food is good but a little overpriced and the atmosphere is relaxed.... but it is worth a visit just for the experience.

“Waiter worked hard for bad meal.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed May 4, 2013

When you charge these types of prices your food better be good. In our case it was the worst meal we have had anywhere in the last three years. Greasy, poor flavours, over cooked meats, excessive vinegar, poor quality products. Worst of all an extremely poor variety of food on menu.
