“Clean & Simple”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2013

My husband & I stayed from May18-24. This was a clean, safe place to stay.Yes the bldg. is a little older, but that just means the walls are thicker and it's quiet. The staff was friendly and accomodating, it helped that I speak a little spanish. The location was wonderful, close to many attractions (Disneyland), shopping, bank, gas, interstate, etc. We didn't use the pool, but it looked clean and well kept, just a little small. The beds were very firm, I prefer a softer mattress, but this was not something that would spoil my trip. I brought my own toiletries as I prefer my brands, but soap, & shampoo were in dispensers in the bathroom. The only real complaint was the bathroom did not have a vent fan so the space stayed humid even with the window open, and the towels were a little rough and scratchy. Overall we were satisfied with our stay and would return in the future, and recomend to friends.

Room Tip: Second floor rooms very quiet. El Super the market around the corner has tasty deli hot food at rea...

First off, the pictures must be of a different, much better kept and remodeled location. The rooms abd grounds are horrible.
I called the front desk because I only had shampoo in my room and asked if they had conditioner and lotion and was told they had lotion but I had to go to the loby to get it. (Poor customer service, in my opinion) When I rang the bell outside the front desk (since the door was locked) the man behind the counter handed me conditioning shampoo and told me that was all they had.
The air conditioners being used in other rooms sound like an airplane is landing next door too.
In short, I definitely realize, in this case, you get what you pay for. I will never stay here again and would not recommend it.

Dear Loucille56, Thank you so much for taking time to share your opinion with us. I can assure you that the photos are current and reflect the cleanliness and comfort of our rooms. We recently installed shampoo and soap dispensers in all our rooms and guests tell us they love our efforts to be 'green.' Guests also tell us they love the small sample products available at the front desk as a convenience to guests who forget to bring them. Thank you again for sharing and please know that we are always working hard to provide a good value for our guests.

This is a great hotel to stay in budget wise. ART bus picks up and is great to jump on after a day at Disneyland. Rooms are serviced daily and staff friendly and helpful. Starbucks is just a block away along with a food-mart and Walmart in the opposite direction.
Was a bit noisy with some barking dogs next door to the hotel. This isn't the hotels fault. Walls were a bit thin, but this is a budget hotel in a good location so can't complain.
Would suggest upper floors.

Room Tip: Get an upstairs room. Although the air conditioner was a bit noisy, it did provide 'white noise...

We just stayed four nights and loved it. We are Disneyland season pass holders and have stayed just about everywhere within walking distance of the park. This is by far the best value.

It was recently renovated with quality laminate floors (so nice!), granite counters, and no popcorn ceiling. The walk is a little longer but you pass a Starbucks along the way (cheaper than in the park)!! Also no hidden parking fees like the close hotels.

The staff was friendly and helpful to meet our individual needs as they arose throughout our stay. We would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Room and toilet was clean. I like the non-carpet floor. Location is alright, walkable to disneyland and a few fast food and a walmart within 10min walk. Not as convenient as disneyland area but i like it as it is very peaceful, not so busy. There is a fridge and microwave in the room. Good for guest who might face jetlag, waking up in the middle of the night feeling hungry. We bought a few frozen ready food from walmart and heat up with microwave when we are hungry. Would be good if tissue can be included in the toilet/room.

Hotel was very clean. Bathrooms were very clean and staff was very friendly. Great place to stay. Nice and quiet so ya don't have to worry about any loud noise. Only negative was that the beds are hard as rocks!!
