“Not worth it. Avoid this place”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed December 28, 2012

It is in a great location. When you have a bunch of hungry kids who don't want to wait, this can be tempting. But the food is of very poor quality. The display itself is a turn off. There are much better choices close by. I would not recommend this place

“Quantity, not quality”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 28, 2012

I almost rated this poor but I thought that wasn't quite fair - but it was close. My husband and I ate here with our daughters ages 5 and 4. The meal was about $36 (including soda and milk) with a military discount (which I do appreciate). The food ranged from not bad (roast beef) to bland and tasteless. The kids would not eat the macaroni and cheese - which never happens - and the ice cream was cold but flavorless (not sure how that even happens). After an exhausting day at Disneyland, this was hot and fast and there was plenty of it. But I would not visit again. PS - I am not sure what day the buffet has crab and lobster as mentioned by another reviewer? The only seafood I saw was very small fried shrimp which were not actually too bad but there was nothing resembling crab and lobster. Oh, the service was outstanding though!

“NO!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed December 27, 2012

Don't go here. You may be enticed by seeing it while you ride the monorail, and it's proximity to the park seems like a winner but sitting next to it is a far better choice. The food is bland and dry. You will be disappointed by everything you chose, even if it's pizza. They have taco shells, but the meat is a greasy soup. They have hamburgers, and those were ok. They have chicken, but it's either dry or soggy. The smell when you walk in should be enough for you to exit and go to the IHOP next door.

“great value”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 11, 2012

It was well priced for a buffet with sea food. You get lobster and crap for 9.95 for and adult and 8.95 for kids. I am from Reno NV where a Seafood buffet is like 20 bucks a person and you only get crab and oysters no Lobster what so ever. I think that the casinos should take a look at this place

“Don't do it!!!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed December 7, 2012

Each time we would walk past and see people going into "Captain Kidds", we would go "OMG, DON'T DO IT!!!!? This had to be the worst place in the world to eat. The food was disgusting, staff not friendly, even the drinks were not flash. Nothing, nothing, nothing was good. We are not fussy eaters. We truly eat anything. But we all walked it eating hardly anything. There are so many better choices, IHOP, Mimi's Cafe, Millie's, Takeaway pizza to your hotel room, even M'Donalds was ago much better. Shocking food. We were not even sure what we were eating.
