“Excellant rates for a Great Hotel for Disneyland Vacation with Kids”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 7, 2010

We stayed here for three nights at the end of October. The hotel is 10 minutes from Disneyland which is what we were looking for. Free parkng, free wireless internet, and best of all a great free full hot continential breakfast in the morning. With two kids the free breakfast complete with Mickey Mouse pancakes save us a lot of time and money each morning. Highly recommend this hotel. Its a great value. Rooms were clean and spacious. No problems whatsoever.

Previous reviewers for this hotel have already highlighted the excellent service, facilities and benefits that are included in the rate of the hotel and I can only concur with the views of the vast majority of reviewers that the Ayres Anaheim is a great place to stay whether for business or leisure.

Sure, you may get a better rate at some other hotels in the area, but what you need to consider is that parking, breakfast, snacks, unlimited free internet (wireless and cabled) and alcoholic drinks in the afternoon are all included in the rate.

Parking charges and 'Resort Fees' are a particular annoyance of mine and the free parking was a factor when booking the hotel. When all of the other benefits that the Ayres provide are taken into consideration; I believe this represents fantastic value.

Furthermore, the rooms are spacious and the hotel is exceptionally clean throughout, however, the hotels biggest asset is the staff (front of house in particular) who were excellent and made a great effort to ensure everything was satisfactory.

The decor of the hotel is not 'dated' as described earlier, but has been designed in European style which is quite apparent as the Ayres chain very openly describe their product as a 'collection of European Boutique Hotels'. Contemporary style it isn't - and the only 'dated' aspect of the hotel is the old fashioned quality of the service which was exceptional - this rare quality seems to be a thing of the past in many of the hotels I have stayed in.

I have used around a dozen hotels in the Anaheim area from budget to high end and without doubt, the Ayres Anaheim is the only one in the area I would return to as it represents the best in value and service - so much so I extended my recent stay.

I thought this hotel was great! friendly staff upon entering and the rooms were spacious.
I liked that the room had a microwave and a mini fridge, And the sink and the bath were separated.
The beds were really comfortable and clean ( the sheets felt nice and crisp!)
Did not hear any freeway noise at all.
The hot breakfast was great and the service very fast! Jose was great and very friendly, he made my children mickey mouse pancakes!
The drive to Disney was not bad at all, very quick it didnt feel like a 10 mins Drive.
The only downside to this hotel is that they did not have a resturant (but one was located right beside)
and not enough childrens tv channels.
My husbands complaint is that the Furniture looked dated, but he likes the more modern style and clean lines.
So other then that I would come back to this hotel!

Although primarily a business hotel, we found it perfect for our Disneyland trip. The Anaheim shuttle picks you up at the front door. The location is half way on the route, so the ride is not long in either direction. Very comfortable bed and room. Hot breakfast was fresh and tasty. Friendly staff.

We stayed here to go to disneyland. its a bit away from disneyland however this is easily fixed with the transport system coming to the front door. The hotel is lovely with great helpful staff. We had a room with a view of Disneyland fireworks and also lucky enough to have a view of angel stadium fire works as well both brilliant. buffet breakfast is nice as well with a great selection. the most comfortable beds ever. there was no restaurant on site for dinner however there is one next door that is lovely with a wide selection of great food.

My family and I stay at the Ayres Anaheim every time we go to L.A., which, with young children, is about once a year for a Disneyland trip. We have been consistently delighted with this hotel and always look forward to returning. The rooms are clean, beautifully decorated, have comfortable beds and pillows, and are so quiet you can't believe you're right next to the freeway. We've never heard any noise from neighboring rooms, not even the showers running or toilets flushing, like you do in most hotels. The modest pool area is a nice spot for swimming and relaxing. The staff have always been courteous and professional, and have always been willing to give us an upper floor room upon request. Breakfast is generous and tasty, with so much variety that everyone is bound to find something they like. The Ayres is simply perfect for our needs, it feels like a comfortable home-away-from-home at a very reasonable price and only a short drive from Disneyland. We can't wait to go back next year!

We were there for pleasure - Disney - but this seems like a great place to stay no matter what you're traveling for. It is in a very convenient location close to the freeways, yet it was quiet and comfortable and very well priced given that it includes a full hot breakfast every morning. We stayed on the 4th floor and didn't here a thing from the inside or out while in the room. The staff were welcoming and helpful and the rooms were comfortable for the 4 of us (Queen beds which are a must). Though we were not there much, the beds slept great and bathrooms were clean and functioning well. We had a great stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel. We drove ourselves to Disney twice, about 10-15 minutes each time so it was close enough to make it home without crabby kids but out of the rat race right around Disney. Would also be super convenient for Angel Stadium, the Honda Center, and the Grove. Strongly recommend this hotel.
