“Good clean hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 13, 2012 via mobile

We stayed recently at the end of November/beginning of December. The rooms were clean and staff was friendly. It's no longer than a 10min walk to downtown Disney and another 5/10min to the main gate dependent on how busy it is. The restaurant food was decent and staff was very accommodating. Many afternoons we just ordered the family pizza deal to our room. $20 gets u a large pizza, pitcher of drinks, garlic bread and salad. We spent less doing that then actually dinning in the restaurant where the kids eat free! My only complaint is the in room coffee. It tasted HORRIBLE! I would stay here again.

We (Dad, mom, 8 yr old and 5 yr old) stayed here for 8 nights in Dec 2012. When we reserved we asked for an upper floor room and got a main floor room. We also asked for a fridge rental ($10 daily) and upon getting into our room there was none, so we had to call and ask again. On their website it says "self-parking" but they don't mention the $10 daily fee unlike the airport shuttle service "Airport Shuttle Transportation (Fee)". But the biggest complaint was the major building construction going on 40 feet from our window that woke us up at 6:30am everyday. (which is no fault of the Holiday Inn)

Sure it is within walking distance to Disneyland, but definitely not after a day of walking around the parks. Make use of the Anaheim Resort Transit system for $3 an adult and $1 per child per day pass. It's quicker than walking and won't make your kids turn from Mickey to Grumpy.
You can watch the nightly fireworks

The Onyx restaurant has some really good food and good portions at very decent prices. They have kids eat free with a paid adult but the limited kids menu makes it hard if you're staying longer than 3-4 days.
Next door is a 24 hour gas station so you can get a decent cup of coffee in the morning and some breakfast snacks (Muffins, Danish etc.). That is the ONLY merchant within walking distance.

They have free wireless internet and a pool and a hot tub which is very nice if you get a chance to enjoy it after the parks.

We chose the Holiday Inn and Suites due to our late vacation booking, had we booked further in advance we would have chosen from a few different hotels along S Harbour Blvd (west side of Disney) which are less than a 5 minute walk from the park entrance. We would also have no need for a rental car if we stayed over there as the amenities are bountiful.

The location was perfect for our Disneyland trip and it was convenient that it has a restaurant and bar on-site. Staff was friendly and fast, lobby and common areas clean. The rooms are in need of an upgrade however.

Although this hotel was farther to Disneyland than could comfortably be walked, the city bus shuttle made frequent stops there. The staff are all very nice and attentive, rooms are clean and comfortable. A couple of drawbacks to this hotel is they have no free breakfast (and the buffet was expensive for the quality of the food offered) and no microwaves or refrigerators in the rooms.AND of course coffee offered by this chain is the worst.

I stayed here when I went to Disneyland. location was excellent. I walked to Disneyland in about 20 minutes. You can Take the ART shuttle from the hotel to Disneyland if you want. If you are a senior pay when you ride instead of buying a $5 pass as it only costs $1 one way and you save a lot of money. The hotel staff was great and very helpful and courteous. Rooms were great and I paid a lot less than one of the other hotels in the area. I do not generally stay at Holiday Inns but this was nice and I would consider it again. Parking is $10 per day at the hotel. Rooms were nice and service was everyday. Great place to sleep and refresh after a day at Disneyland. Hotel restaurant was a little expensive however.

We rented two rooms here for under $100 each per night. parking is $10 per car, and wifi is free.
Overall the property was clean, staff were friendly, and there was a pool and hot tub.
If you are looking for a family friendly place to stay, get out early to the parks, and have a place to let the kids splash in the pool before bed, it's hard to go wrong with this place.

This is an excellent hotel It is within walking distance of Disney. There is a convenience store and a Mexican Restaurant at the nearby service station. Other than these, you need a car. We were on a bus tour and felt remote. You can get a pick up bus to three beaches whicfjh weerre interesting.
