This hotel was really nice! I looked at reviews on Tripadvisor before staying here and people had commented on the free breakfast and free parking, so I went for it. It was expensive, but I got a good deal through Expedia. Our room was beautiful; spacious, clean, and the beds were very comfortable. There weren't a lot of T.V. channels, however my husband realized that when you type in the numbers (rather than the channel arrows) there were more channels. Also, it was nice to have the slippers and robes in the room. The shower was awesome too! Now for the "howevers". We went down for the "free" breakfast and were directed to the restaurant that was in the hotel. We did not see your typical continental breakfast, only this restaurant. We were confused, and thankfully, Garrett was there to help us. He told us that only certain rooms included the free breakfast. We were not told any of this upon check-in. Garrett went, checked for us, and came back with the good news that we had a room that did include the free breakfast. He handed us these little cards to redeem for the breakfast. At this point, we didn't have a lot of time left, so we went to the To-Go window. The hostess told us that our breakfast consisted of our choice of potatoes, eggs, bacon and toast or danish and fruit. When I inquired about cereal, we were told that cereal was not on the continental breakfast menu and would cost us; I found that weird being that it's way less maintenance then the hot breakfast, but anyway...We waited a long time for our breakfast and people who ordered after us got their food first; a little frustrating being that I was REALLY anxious to get to Disneyland!!!! So, when you book, make sure you ask about the free breakfast! Also, when we checked out, we were charged $28 for parking. That sucked, knowing that the Best Western right next door (where we stayed last time) had free parking. I was also a little put out because reviews on Tripadvisor stated free parking at this hotel, so I would also ask that when booking. Those are my only complaints. The hotel was nice and the people were very friendly. Garrett was most helpful and made us feel very valued as costumers. The walk to Disneyland from this hotel is very pleasant, as you get to walk through the Grand California Hotel and enter in the middle of Downtown Disney. It takes about 15-20 minutes to walk to the main gate.
