Aloha everyone…My family of six (2 adults, 3 teens (16, 14, 13), and 1 child (10) stayed in this hotel for 3 night (Oct 1st, 2nd, & 3rd). I’m not saying this hotel is “good” or “bad”, but just want to share my experience and you can take it for what it’s worth.
Value: Paid about $130.00 a night including tax for a two bedroom - adjoining. Four queen beds with two bathrooms.
Staff: Nice and friendly but not much help on two occasions. The 1st was for a hand towel but only had bath towels which we already had and the 2nd they couldn’t provide change for quarters to use their washer & dryer. They told my son he had to go across the street to the gas station for change. Unlike the Carousel Inn & Suites we had no problems getting change from them to use their washer & dryer. (See my review on their hotel)
Rooms: Spacious for three persons per room. Although the rooms were kept clean the floor felt uneven. Parts of the rooms felt like it was sloping towards the parking lot area. The floor between the adjoining doorways had a dip. One of the bathtubs felt like there was water trapped between the floor and under the bathtub. You could hear something squishing underneath it. The showerhead was very low for anyone above 5 feet 7 inches and the water pressure was very weak like they were trying to conserve water or something. The bathrooms were very small but manageable. In one of the rooms you could lightly smell some sort of odor near the A/C but didn’t notice any leaking or wet area and wasn’t bad to get us sick. Overall, the rooms were average and nothing fancy to brag about but do need some renovating.
Location: About 2 blocks away from Disney’s roadside entrance. You pretty much have three options to get to the park. (1) Drive and park at Disney’s parking lot for $11.00, (2) walk give or take about 20 minutes, or catch a shuttle bus that goes around nearby hotels for a cost of $3.00 per person (all day).
Check-In / Check-Out: Went very smooth, fast, and had no problems since I had it prepaid through an internet agency that cost me less then going directly through the hotel which I checked prior to going through the internet agency.
Breakfast: Can’t comment since we slept in but I’m pretty sure it’s the same as any nearby hotels which is the basic stuff. There’s a lot of nearby eating facilities to choose from, walking and driving distances.
Pool: Hadn’t had a chance to try it since they close the gate at 9:00 pm but for what I’ve seen it’s an o.k. size. Not a pool for swimming but a pool for dipping.
Parking: Although parking is limited I had no problem finding one since they were lots of rooms available during the time we stayed.
Overall Stay: O.K. but I for one wouldn’t return. I’d recommend this hotel for anyone that’s looking for a place to sleep, shower and not spend a lot of time in the room.
