“Fun place to people watch”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 24, 2013

Downtown Disney is a great place to people-watch, to shop, eat at restaurants, or just to browse around and spend some time. A great reprieve from the hustle and bustle of the Disneyland Park or California Adventure. The shops and restaurants aren't cheap. The Grand Californian at one end and the refurbished Disneyland Hotel on the other end. There is also free musical entertainment in the evenings. There is also a movie theater there as well now. Lots of things to choose from. I especially love ESPN Zone and Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen for dinner and music depending on my mood.

“Much in line with what Disneyland itself offers”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 24, 2013

The options for food and retail and entertainment outside the Park are very well done. It provide very well priced eating options prior to or after your visit to the park and all keeping the Disney way respected

“Great Shopping Great Times”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 23, 2013

Downtown Disney is a great place to just walk around, hang out and of course to shop. Although a bit pricey, it is still a fun place to spend some time while in Anaheim or at Disneyland. There is no charge for entrance into Downtown Disney.

“Carmel Popcorn”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 23, 2013

Whatever you do, stop and grab a bag of warm Carmel Popcorn on your way into Disneyland/CA Adventure. It will last you (and a couple of kids) all day. It is so much fresher than the stuff in the parks and so much less expensive. You'll find it at the Disneyland Hotel end of Downtown Disney. Important note, the other vendor near the park entrances has Kettle Corn, NOT Carmel Corn. I only made that mistake once ; )
