“2 adults, 3 kids, very comfortable suite”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 17, 2011

Great place to stay. We went during the off-season for Disneyland, February. Weather was good, park not very crowded, we were able to get onto all of the rides with short waits. Longest line was around 30 minutes.
The Hotel was very clean, everything worked great, it seems brand new. (maybe it is, not sure). Staff was very helpful. The only complaint (very minor) was that our room was not ready until about 15 minutes after the earliest check-in time.
We got a 2 bedroom suite, and it was excellent. Full kitchen and gas grills by the pool area (I think 4 or 5 of them) allowed us to cook our own dinner to save lots of money.
**tip** get the shuttle tickets. It's like $10 for a 4 day adult ticket. The hotel is close to the park, but it's almost a mile walk to the front gate of Disneyland. After walking the park all day, walking back to the hotel is the last thing anyone wants to do.
The hot tubs on the roof fill quickly, especially around fireworks time. More hot tubs by the pool but view isn't there.

My wife and I stayed as guests of owner for our 10th anniversary in a one bedroom. We found it a great place to stay.
Check-in was actually pretty quick even taking into a count them trying to get us to accept a "presentation" The parking is in a separate and secure building. This was comforting to know your car is secure, but could be a little inconvientent when loading and unloading the vehicle. They do have a loading area that they tell you to pull up in. The problem was that when we arrived there were a lot of families that had just returned from the grocery story unloading groceries that we just parked on the street in front and unloaded. They do have tons of luggage carts that were helpful and made it so we only had to make one trip.
Our room was on the 8th floor and was overlooking the park we arrived Sunday night at 8 and just as we were getting to the room the fireworks at Disneyland were starting. We opened the door to the balcony and watched them for a bit. The balcony is very small, like standing room only but it was kinda nice in the morning or evening to stand out and look over the park.
The room was very clean when we arrived. With this being a time share there was no house keeping during the 4 nights that we were there. Which was fine with us, we didn't feel like we had to clean up before we went out for the day. There are an extra set of sheets in the room and to get new towels you just take the old ones down to the front desk and exchange them.
The first night and the next day we used the ART bus system. The stop is just out side the front door of the World Mark and the route that service the World Mark only had two other stops. So that was nice.
The only negative, which wasn't really a negative was that on our first morning when we showered the tub didn't drain. We told the front desk and it was taken care of while we were out for the day.
If you were traveling with kids (which we usually do) you could save money on food if you wanted by cooking in the room. We didn't do this but the rooms do have a full kitchen and pots and pans and things. I was going to look and see what they had as far as pots and pans and things but I forgot to before we left.
You do have to go into it understanding that it is a time share and that if you are not one of the owners that you will be hit up for a "tour" of the resort and they will want you to give them some "feed back". We knew this and declined they weren't all that pushy about it. They did try and use the fact that they would give the owners points if we did and we might have caved were it not for the owners telling us that the points that we would be getting them was really nothing and that they didn't need them so that took the pressure off us but the other couple that was checking in at the same time signed up for the presentation. After that first sales pitch they didn't try to contact or anything after that.

It was a clean hotel. The amenities they provided was excellent in regards to the kitchen utensils. Make sure you bring your own laundry soap. The stuff they provide really does nothing. If you do they require "H E" soap. The biggest downfall is that we were there for a little over a week and we were told that when we checked in we got a free cleaning. So we called half way through to request for a cleaning. The person who answered barely spoke english and then transferred us to some different department. So we talked to the people they transferred us to and they transferred us right back. We got someone different (thank God) but they told us that most people use their free cleaning as their check out cleaning and unless we wanted to be charged the cleaning fee to just hold off. We were like, um, ok and we just left it at that. Turns out that was a bunch of bull and we actually did have a free cleaning they probably just were trying to get out of doing it. So, beyond that mishap the pool area was great. They have two pools to choose from and two spas as well on the main floor. They have more spas on the roof but they are always full. The parking garage was great, I really felt safe leaving my car there since it was a lock facility. We used the ART system and that was fun *sarcasm*. 80% of the time nothing bad happened, the other 20%, well here you go. You are the last stop so part of the time they couldn't pick us up because they were already full. There was one time it was standing room only and my husband and I barely squeezed in. It was a miracle.

We have stayed at several Worldmark properties and so far this is the nicest one. We stayed here mid week in April, off season so it wasn't packed. Some people have mentioned that the elevators were alittle slow. We didn't encounter this at all. If you've been to Europe you'll survive.

PROS
Five Star Customer Service
- Upon check-in we were greeted by two staff welcoming us. Check-in was easy and quick...under 5 minutes
- Throughout our visit the staff was very nice and helpful
Building
- Nice entertainment room; video arcades, ping pong, pool, etc.
- Rooftop view of the fireworks (awesome)...next time I'll bring a bottle of vino with me.
- Downstairs in the lobby they have a big box where you can place your extra unused food. The food is donated to local shelter. Nice touch, wish more places would do this.
Other
- Several luggage charts
- Free coffee throughout the day served downstairs
Rooms
- Full kitchen (clean)
- Washer/Dryer
- Flat screen TV's in the front room and master bedroom.

CONS
Room
- It would have been nice to have a few extra hooks in the bathroom
WIFI
- The building is very solid and the free w-fi sucks, so you can go downstairs and use the free business/media room or rent a router for $5.00 per day (still not that bad)

Stayed here with family for 7 nights...for the money it is great...it is one of the newer places to stay near disney....it was very nice......definately would stay again...close to disney, and easy bus availablility...
I agree with one other review...it is nice and new, but they didn't do quality....like granite and tile floors...it looks nice now, but things will have to be replaced sooner than later due to marginal finishing construction products...such as linoleum and formica ....and sinks that are made of a plastic type material...tubs are not tile, and they are small...but other than that, great...it seemed nice and quiet for sleeping and a fantastic view of the fireworks...Like I said, for the money...I don't think you will get anything better...really enjoyed our stay here.

As the other reviews said, great location for Disneyland and an easy drive the beach of LA. Rooms are nicely furnished and kitchen is well equipped to cook full meals. BBQs are well maintained (not always the case in some WorldMarks). Secure parking and friendly staff. My only complaint would be that the garbage area(s) on each floor as well as the building collection area were not kept clean and really smelled. The smell carried into the stairwell and back elevator.

But WorldMark Anaheim has my lasting gratitude for finding a diamond ring I left. It is a family heirloom as well as very valuable. I didn't notice it wasn't on my finger until we were at the airport. I made a frantic call to WorldMark. They immediately went to the room--located the ring--and within 20 minutes Linda the manager was on the phone with me arranging to have it sent the same day.

Me my wife and another couple stayed in a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom presidential suite on the 14th floor for 4 nights. The room was not facing the parks but the view was still very nice. We tried to check in at around 11 am but the room was not ready so they got our number and would call us when the room was ready, they stored our luggage and we went to hollywood, and venice beach and sightseeing, they finally called at 3:30pm saying our room was ready. Check in was smooth and when we went to our room we were very impressed the room was amazing full kitchen, flat sceen tvs, and a huge walk in shower with 2 big shower heads in the master bathroom, the balcony next to the living room was a good size, but the balcony outside the master bedroom was very small that no chairs can fit out there you can only stand but that was scary. There was a draft that came in through the balcony door in master suite, I never complained about it but it was very noticeable. We did not take the shuttle to the parks we decided to park for $15 a day it was very easy and not far away from hotel just a few minutes drive. We went to the 2 jaccuzzi's on the 15 floor (ROOF) and that was a very beautiful view of the parks at night and very relaxing. There was a computer with printer in the room that I found very useful for me to check on our business and use the printer, but the computer was pretty slow. We asked for more towels at the front desk and a front desk agent said to bring down all the dirty towels and they will give us new ones, I did not think that was great customer service so my wife went up to them and stated we were very tired due to it being around 10pm and just wanted to get a few towels to take up to our room and that worked the agent gave us 4 sets of towels. Overall the hotel was in a great location with free parking and beautiful rooms and most the staff were very friendly and helpful. The cost of credits is very high compared to other worldmark resorts but it was worth it and we had the most memerable trip ever.
