My wife and I spent one night here and were well pleased. Nice little motel - close parking , two chairs and a table outside the door on the walkway, views across alfalfa fields to the Warner Mountains, fridge, microwave, flow-through ventilation, and a comfy bed. Perfect for us, and at a reasonable price. I'd like to stay there again.

The "other" motels in Alturas were noisy, and dirty looking....I sure am glad I took notes from Tripadvisor as to where to stay! The Rim Rock was comfy, clean and a real value for the basic room we stayed in...Nice folks run this place too...I judge restaurants and lodging by if they look "loved" or "neglected" I rate Rim Rock as "loved".

Could not of been happier. Rhonda and son Eric were great. Super clean quiet and smelled good to. We stayed in room 21. It had a full kitchen in it and, a Queen bed. Will stay there again over any other place. Thanks.

What a super place to stay! The folks were extremely friendly and genuinely cared about the wants and desires of their customers (... a rare find these days I'd say). Two of us showed up on Harleys and tired from the day's ride in; we were greeted with a friendly smile and given instructions on a beautiful 25-mile ride for that evening... we also learned about a place called Bennie's. We didn't make it there but it is on our return list to-do! Yep! we're going back again and can't say enough to tell you how superb the hosts really are! And, as the other reviews point out; Rim Rock is clean as a pin, well-kept, and quite frankly a great place to stay. We sat out on the front porch and enjoyed the scenery immensely prior to retiring for the evening since it is very quiet just outside of town. What a home-like atmosphere... down-to-earth. We tip our hats to the Prices. Thank you!
