“For lunch special”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 25, 2012

A good chopped salad with a pizza is a good lunch indeed. It is average compared to other places in Alameda but superior compared to other chain restaurants.

“Yummy and kid friendly”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 16, 2012

We've eaten at Tomatina twice with our kids and both times the food was good and with friendly service. They had holiday themed coloring pages for the kids (a nice change from getting the same sheets on each visit to other establishments) and if you sit by the front windows, it is a nice view to people watch. We love the breadsticks (squares) and the shrimp/angelhair pasta dish is my favorite. The kids pizza is generous (8 slices each and my kids could have shared). My husband wasn't thrilled with the sausage/vege dish he ordered only because the portion was small for a dinner but overall we were pleased on both occasions.

“Best Food Ever”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 25, 2011

Everything we had was delicious! Our favorite, however, was the Chicken Parmesan and Cheese Filled Gnocchi. Wish there was a Tomatina's near Ohio!

“Amazing bruchetta and piadines!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 26, 2011

tomatina's is my favorite take out..

The restaurant itself is nice but the servers aren't as friendly as they should
be..

I adore their garlic rolls, bruchetta, ghnocci, pasta, and margarita pizza's.

I am never disappointed in their food!!

“Strangest Antipasto Salad”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed May 11, 2009

All ingredients of the antipasto salad were chopped so fine that it looked like a dish of coleslaw! It was served on a standard sized dinner plate and cost $8.50! The pizza was good, but cost twice as much as the same pizza from directly across the street. I am not going back to Tomatina.
