Well prepared food at reasonable prices. Start with fish and chips for lunch and branch out. (We even went back for their cole slaw for take-out for a part of a Sunday brunch we were serving at home later.) We had breakfast brunch there recently, and it was well-prepared, too. That have a good chef, and I hear the owner Betty is the inspiration for the kitchen. I'm surprised this place isn't as well -known as it should be. It's one of the best settings in Alameda, the City across the Bay in one direction and a charming yacht harbor in the other. We've been back several times now.
