“Comfy Bed”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 1, 2014

Not really much to add from previous reviews as I found them all quite accurate. I was here with my boyfriend just one night. No bellman to assist with baggage, but we were able to go straight to our room which was nice, but nothing special. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've been in and the room was clean and pleasant. The pool area was nice too with jaccuzi and firepit.
We went to a nearby show and The Sheraton provided a shuttle to the place, but not from. We did not have breakfast there as it was pricey and didn't seem like anything we wanted. Instead we chose to go 10 minutes away to The Rock Store where bikers hang out - including Jay Leno and that was fun. Reagan Museum also a short drive away as well. Not much in area but great location for us to drive to where we wanted.

Room Tip: Balcony overlooking mountains better than parking lot.

Dear Barbara W,

Thank you so much for staying with us, and I am certainly happy to hear that the location works out for you. So sorry to hear that our bellman wasn't available when you needed him, but it is definitely a service that we do have here on property. Also, please feel free to give our hotel a call the next time you need a pick-up from a nearby location and our staff will be happy to send a shuttle out to bring you back. We look forward to your return the next time that you are in the area so we can exceed your expectations.

Warmest Regards,

This hotel was very nice. The staff was super friendly and talked to us about a lot of local attractions and so on. Our room was very nice, we had one with a balcony on the third floor, though the view wasn't any thing to get excited about (just the side of a hill and some parking spots). We stayed two nights and the first night was the absolute quietest night I have ever had in a hotel in my life! The second night was a close second I guess... May be they didn't have any of the rooms around us booked the first night?

The hotel is a short scenic drive to the beach in Malibu, but not super close to LA. If traffic is bad it can take over an hour to get in to the city. The surrounding area was also very nice! It's a pretty ritzy neighborhood I think, but the hotel was very reasonably priced for the location. It's also pretty close to the freeway, so getting places isn't bad at all, it's just the traffic that will kill you, but I guess that's just LA.

Any way, we really enjoyed our stay. They were nice to us and very cool about having our dog with us.

One night stay only at this one.
Upon arrival no service was present to collect bags from vehicles, we had 12. Took 30 minutes to get some one to assist which is disappoint.
The reception was very casual and laid back and clearly not in a hurry to assist hotel guests. After hearing about the staffs entertaining evening the night before from the wait in reception finally our bags were taken and room allocated.
The Hotel is clean and has a lovely view of the Hills.
The beds are fantastic and very comfortable. Facilitates are poor in terms of tea & coffee.
Bathroom was not clean with a used shower curtain remaining in the bathroom and toilet had blood on it under the toilet lid and bowl.
Would not stay again.
Value for money is very good minus the suprises that should never occur.

I always struggle with hotel beds but this is by far the most comfortable beds I've had at a Sheraton! The hotel is very nice, clean, great staff and good food options. I stayed here for two separate full weeks for business and was very comfortable. One elevator was down each week but it seldom caused delays. Great place!

Dear Mld69,

Thank you for your wonderful review and for staying with us. Yes, our Sheraton Suite Sleeper Beds are definitely the most comfortable beds out there. I'm very sorry for the inconvenience of the one elevator being out for service during your stay. We were temporarily working on up-grading our elevators during that time period, but I'm happy to say that all elevators have been up-graded and are working wonderfully now.

Pretty much as expected for a Sheraton. The rooms were large and clean, a little worn but comfortable. Nice lobby and sitting areas. Round grill like fireplaces in a courtyard near the pool. Reception was helpful and friendly. Walking distance to a little strip mall. We didn't try the breakfast or the restaurant. Usual amenities. There was a charge for WIFI in the rooms but not in the lobby. The rooms close to the lobby remained connected. Hard to write a review, nothing terrible or nothing fantastic. I would stay there again for the price we paid but not for more

Close to the freeway and easy to find although it's on a hilly corner so a little tricky knowing exactly where the entrance is at first. Convenient short driving distance to grocery stores and eateries. Plenty of free parking which is a definite plus. Outdoor pool with tables and chairs & hot tub located close to lobby and elevators. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable with the right balance of furniture and good lighting. The beds with cushy white comforters and perfect pillows were heavenly and made it hard to get up in the morning. Definitely points on for that. A business desk with multiple outlets made it convenient to plug in and charge computers, phones, ipods etc., but in-room wi-fi was an extra charge. Really? Points off. There was a complimentary water bottle in the room which was nice, but two more identical ones were marked $1 each and could not be distinguished unless you looked really close. Overall extremely clean, comfortable, safe, efficient, but generically so. Nothing extraordinary to warrant 5 stars, but no hesitation to stay here again.

Our room was on the 4th floor facing the shops down the hill. It was clean, comfy, and the bed was awesome!!! We relaxed and didn't hear much noise from anyone outside except in the morning when the people in the room directly across from us had something happen to them that the paramedics and hotel staff were rushing to. That's naturally something that couldn't have been controlled.

Staff was nice. Check-in and check-out was easy. Plenty of free parking outside.

The breakfast didn't look great so we opted to eat elsewhere, but aside from that, I would definitely stay here again.
