“Great stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 15, 2012

Stayed here for a few days while visiting LA. The lobby area had been recently renovated and was very attractive. The outside of the hotel was in the process of being painted. Our room was very clean and had a super comfortable bed, with excellent linens. Couldn't wait to get into the bed after a long day of sight seeing. Only complaint was out of control kids running up and down the halls in the middle of the night, however, not the fault of the hotel. The hotel was having problems with their TV reception and we weren't able to get NBC and the Olympics. They offered to comp the wifi charge to allow you to stream it in your room instead. The location was great, felt like a retreat after driving in the LA traffic. Very pretty tucked away in the hills.

We are from Orange County but lived in LA for awhile. We booked the Sheraton as that is where our entire group was staying for a wedding at Calamigos Ranch. The hotel was clean, super comfortable bed, large room and great customer service. Overall it was a quick trip but we were glad we booked it. Very nice hotel!

There's not much to choose from out this way. Maybe the beach cities have more to offer. But if you the 80's were good for you, this is the place for you because nothing has changed since. A lot has changed since then; unfortunately, the hotel has not. The big renovation didn't change the menu on the Club Floor. Carrot sticks were boring before and they're boring post-renovation. Want a good breakfast? Try McDonald's. Why is this dump always booked? I have no idea. Desperate times, I suppose.

Room Tip: Stick to the west side; otherwise, your view is most likely a rooftop air conditioner.

This is one of those-on the surface- average Sheratons I'll give you that what do you expect it's in quiet rural agoura hills. But it's charming and quiet and the rooms are pretty great and clean and designed nicely- making this Sheraton feel more modern even thought the outside says average. Solid stay, nice staff, good hotel for its category. I do recommend. Lobby was in construction when I stayed in April do theyre trying to update, no noise issues

We stayed 2 nights for a ranch wedding in Malibu. It was approximately a 30 min. drive from the wedding venue....about the same distance to Geoffrey's restaurant on the Pacific Coast Hwy. The hotel was right off the 101 but not noisy. The rooms were clean and comfy. The beds were luscious. Lots of layers of sheets and covers and pillows! A bit of a hop up to the tall bed too. I was worried that Grandma may need a step-stool to climb into bed. We upgraded to the 5th floor Concierge Club mostly for the free breakfast. It is a good value considering it was a full breakfast with scrambled eggs, bacon, fruit, yogurt, etc. It was only $15 per room to upgrade and allowed our boys to get a head start on filling their belly while we had coffee in the room. The only downside I noticed to the 5th floor rooms was that the balconies were smaller than the floors below us. Those balconies actually had space for table and chairs! Our rooms had a frig. which was empty so we could chill our bottle of wine...love that! There is a great bar/restaurant/brewing establishment across from the hotel...convenient for the wedding afterparty! Overall a nice experience and would stay here again if in the area.

Room Tip: Probably a better view out the front of the hotel.

This is a business-oriented placed, but we stayed here on a personal trip and really enjoyed it.
The location is right near 101, but not at all noisy. Rooms are spacious and well appointed. Great service by all staff--friendly and helpful. Not just your ordinary roadside motel, this is a full service experience. A delightful stay.

Room Tip: There are ground floor rooms with easy access to the pool, if you're a swimmer--very convenient.

Dear Doctor Jodi,

Thank you for sharing your wonderful experience with us. Our hotel has just completed a $6 million renovation on all of our public areas. This include the Lobby, H2O Grill, Liquid Lounge, Fitness Center, Club Lounge and the signature Link@Sheraton experienced with Microsoft computer workstations. We have also added new furniture near the poolside so you can sit back, relax and enjoy the beautiful setting.

Thank you for sharing the handy room tip. We do have a number of ground floor rooms with easy access to the outdoor pool. We are thrilled to hear that you had a great experience and we hope to welcome you back in the future.

Regards,

The hotel is beautiful and the staff were all very friendly and attentive. Greg Milligan the General Manager even went out of his way to help me and two other guest with transportation. The food was also great.
