First time in this rustic Old Place and found a charming bartender who called us "newbies", great food, good selection of local beer on tap. Had a great beer, but sorry I didn't try a mimosa which was made with about 8 ounces of wine and 2 ounces of juice! The griddle cakes were terrific, the berry fruit topping really special, but a stack of 2 would have been plenty for 2 people. The applewood bacon is also delicious, but an order is 6 large slices that are enough for 3 people. After I finished eating and had to leave half my food, the server told me that next time I could order just one griddle cake. I will definitely go back there someday and do that!
